The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

The chicken here was hot, juicy, and so crunchy. Plenty of flavors to choose from ranging from sweet and tangy to hot and spicy, to burning hot. The drinks and sides were great. But above all the customer service was great. They had K-pop playing non stop and even took requests on some songs so we could enjoy our time even more. I would highly recommend this place to anyone thats serious about their chicken.

My to go place for Asian fries chicken. Been here several time and each time it just getting better or I’m just hungry or craving for it. Parking is quite easy since they do have their own parking lot. No wait, friendly & nice staff. Order is easy & quick. Service is wonderful and attentive here. You have to wait awhile for the crispy, juicy, crunchy, yummy fried chicken and I think that is not so good one. The spice mixture and level of spiciness are just right on the dot. It can be heat spicy or simply spicy. You can ask for additional sauce or hot sauce. The place is relax, chill vibe. With HUGE SCREEN hung right in the middle of the place and Korean music is place, you just feel like you’re in Korea and enjoying great food. It’s a clean, well organized, spacious, bright and airy so very comfortable. They do have other dishes but I only focus on the fried chicken, but others are good too. They do have beers also.

Tried this spot for the first time during my lunch break, and the food was honestly amazing!! I got the lunch special for $16. The Gangnam style wings were delicious and not spicy at all! The food is 5/5 starts.

However giving my overall experience a 3/5 because I ordered takeout because I was short on time, but when my food was ready I asked if I could eat inside since the restaurant was empty and I only had about 15 minutes. I was told it wasn’t allowed, but that they would “let me this one time,” which felt a little awkward as a first experience.

By the way, the restaurant was completely empty so not sure why it was an issue for me to eat inside.

That said, the food itself was excellent and definitely the highlight. I’d absolutely come back again, especially when I have more time to sit and enjoy it properly. Hoping my next visit feels a bit smoother, because the food alone makes this place worth returning to.

1. Make sure you get Nate as your server, all of them are great but Nate knows his stuff and has some great recommendations.
2. The food is BOMB. Every single thing on the menu is delicious and fresh. My mom and I couldn’t even finish the first food they brought out – Rose Ddeok-Bokki because it was so good and filling. Another recommendation is the cheesling fries if you want something salty and sweet. I honestly would recommend the whole menu.

I don’t understand how this place isn’t packed out all the time.

The servers were very nice but inattentive, we had to go to them at the counter multiple times with things we needed. I assume they were busy or prepping other stuff for the day or something.

The prices are too high imo, $16 for 8 pieces is too much, basically $2 per piece.

The taste and texture and crispiness is very good!

Unfortunately, I don’t see myself returning because you can only get one flavor for your chicken, and smallest size they have is 8 pieces. Here’s my recommendation to improve the experience:

I’ve never been here before, so I wanted to try a lot of flavors. There is no option to try multiple flavors. So I figured I’ll just have multiple small orders with different flavors… But the smallest size is 8 huge pieces!! I can’t even finish one order of that size. I recommend adding a “sampler” option to the menu that lets you choose 3 or 4 flavors, OR add a smaller size option like 4 wings. If you do that I’ll come back.

We got the boneless honey garlic small (8piece) and the half chicken secret sauce (8piece) and the honey garlic was so delicious and the chicken was so juicy and the outside was perfectly crispy. The secret sauce wasn’t my fave but that’s just personal preference. I wish we could choose more than one flavor per order but nonetheless it was great. Servers were very attentive and it was an overall good experience 🙂

Very good.
We were going to great wolf lodge for a fun family trip in the waterpark. And our kids wanted korean fried chicken.

1. Easy parking
2. ice cold AC inside the dining area
3. nice ambience, Kpop playing on the big big screen

Food:
Big Plus: the Wings are LARGE. Not skimpy and very meaty.

We got wings . secret sauce: their sweet n spicy, sticky. pretty good. A little too sweet for me. but still very good and crispy

Then a new soy garlic with actual toasted garlic sprinkled on the outside. VERY good. the crunch + aroma of the garlic was really yummy.

French Fries yum.
Duk Bok Ki. Yum . a little too sugary for my taste, but still decent.

We also got the chicken carbonara. It was not spicy at all. I was expecting buldak pink (but that my expectation, not a fault of the restaurant)

If you plan on getting everything you and your kids wants, wings + apps, expect to spend about $20 to $25 per person , especially if you plan on getting paid drinks on top of ice water.

the one server working the front was very good. Friendly and polite.

We had some leftovers, that we heated up at great wolf after a nice day of swimming.

I would go back.

The oil tastes clean and fresh, and the hint of olive oil adds a nice depth of flavor. The outside is crispy while the inside stays tender and juicy, giving it a satisfying crunch. The seasoning is just right not too salty and the sauce is balanced so it doesn’t feel overwhelming.

If only they provided a bit more pickled radish, it would be perfect. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean, and overall, I was very satisfied.

I recently had dinner at bb.q Chicken Garden Grove with some of my colleagues. We were looking for a new place to try out and we stumbled upon this chicken shop. The restaurant is located in a quiet plaza with plenty of parking. The interior is spacious and modern, with a big screen theater size tv on the wall for viewing. The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy, with music playing and people chatting.

We ordered a variety of chicken dishes. The chicken was okie, not bad. It was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. However, some of the flavors were not available, which was a bummer.

The good thing was that they had my kind of beer, Elysian Space Dust IPA. It was cold and refreshing, and went well with the chicken. They also had other beers and drinks, such as soju, wine, and soda. The service was friendly and fast, and the prices were reasonable.

Overall, it was a nice place to hang out with some good company, but not a place I would go out of my way to visit again. The chicken was decent, but not outstanding. The selection of flavors was limited, and some of them were too sweet for my taste. The TV was a nice touch.  If you are looking for a casual and cozy spot to watch a game and enjoy some fried chicken, this might be a good option for you.
