Great first experience. It was very busy and they handled the rush calmly and quickly. I hope this is a good sign and Tropical Smoothie has success for a long time. Both inside and driveway was busy and they still did great.

Terrible smoothies. Way too much ice which makes the texture very thick that you can chew on it. Overpriced smoothie for little flavor, I ordered 2 peanut butter smoothies that tasted like nothing. Once home, I added extra peanut butter and coco powder then had to re-blend it to make it drinkable.Other Tropical Smoothie locations do not have this problem so it must be a skill issue at this new location. Very upsetting because I was excited for Tropical Smoothie to open in Muncie. Would not revisit this location.

I came here to use my T-Mobile Tuesday discount. I told the gentleman what I wanted along with a bottle of water. I scanned my code and he said it was not working. He asked me what code is it and I showed him it was from T-Mobile and he said it probably expired and I said no, it expires on the 15th of December. He said scan it again so I did and it still did not work. I asked him if he accepted Apple Pay and he said yes so I paid and I went to sit down. I looked at my receipt and he charged me 25 cents for a cup of water which is why the discount code did not work because I had to buy something that was $1 or more. I went up to the lady and I asked her if they sell bottles of water and she said yes they do. She told the gentleman my issue and he said that’s fine I will get you a bottle of water. I told him that’s why my code did not work. He asked me if I wanted a refund and I said yes please. He became agitated. He continued to make the person behind me order and then he processed my refund.

He did not like the idea I was using a discount code and tried to te me it expired and then tried to tell me I ordered a water when I said a bottle of water. I knew I had to order something that was $1 or more. Not 25 cents.

Edit: I looked at both of my receipts. He gave me $11.71 back in a refund but I was charged $12.88 as you see in both of these receipts. I went straight back to the restaurant and I said, hello, it’s me again and he said yes … I told him what happened and he asked for the receipts and I gave them to him. I said you didnt give me the full amount of the refund. He said everything he is itemized correctly as you see on these receipts. I can give you back the difference in cash if you would like? I said I just want my full refund of what I paid because I did not get any service from you. He was not very nice especially when he handed me the change in coins only. I said thank you and he did not say a word.

I was very nice about all of this but he was not. I will not be back and this was my first time here. I even told him when I first placed my order, this was my first time here.

I am normally not very big on smoothies, but I loved this place! Me and my boyfriend split one of the Dragon Fruit Bowls and it was extremely fresh and delicious! Brandon was especially patient, helpful. and overall had a stellar personality. We will definitely be returning at some point 🙂

I stopped by the Tropical Smoothie location in Muncie on December 18 to grab a smoothie after a very long workday. I needed a little pick-me-up before heading out to run errands, and I definitely got more than I expected.

I was greeted in the drive-through by Brandon, who immediately set a positive tone. He asked if I had been to Tropical Smoothie before, and after I placed my usual order, he jokingly told me it was one of the most basic drinks on the menu—which genuinely made me laugh. I asked him what he would recommend instead, and he gave me a few great options. I ended up choosing one of his suggestions and was so glad I did.

When I pulled up to pay, Brandon was friendly, professional, and full of great energy. He had an amazing smile, and you could truly tell he enjoys what he does. His positive attitude and excellent customer service were incredibly refreshing, especially after a long day at work.

I’ve always enjoyed everything I’ve ordered from Tropical Smoothie and will definitely continue to visit, but this experience really stood out. Huge shoutout to Brandon for making my day a little brighter and ensuring my order was perfect. I truly appreciate him and hope this review does some justice to what an amazing employee he is.

Tropical Smoothie Café is an absolute favorite! The smoothies are always fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. The food is surprisingly delicious too, especially the wraps and flatbreads. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the vibe is always upbeat. Whether you’re grabbing a healthy snack or a full meal, it’s consistently a great experience. Highly recommended!

Edit 2: Thanks for the response, I have already filled out a review on the tropical smoothie official website and provided my contact details, I’ll be awaiting a follow up via the methods provided and will continue to update my review accordingly.

Edit: so I’ve been checking back hoping the team at tropical smoothie would reach out to me to follow up about this horrific incident, today I saw they’ve responded to the most recent review so they’ve obviously seen this and just decided to ignore it. In my opinion this is a poor way to treat a loyal customer who has been frequenting your location multiple times a week since opening day.

So today I went to into the store with my girlfriend to order some food and a smoothie, the employees that greeted us and took our order were great! But while waiting for our food a crew member came from the back and walked by mean mugging my girl… she asked “can I help you” and things went south real quick. They went back and forth for a moment before I stepped in and said something to him he put his hands on his waist and asked “are you talking to me” multiple times, I made it clear that I was and he said “wait right here I got something” and walked to the back. After a few minutes Brandon the manager returned asking what happened followed by the District manager who took over and sent Brandon back to the back. I was calm through all of this and told her what happened and that I wasn’t going to stand by while someone disrespects my girl, I told her that I’m a paying customer and was waiting on my food when he came out being rude and aggressive before telling me to wait right here so now I’m waiting for him to return. She told me that she’s staying there to make sure our paths don’t cross, she confirmed that I had received my food and made it clear that she was scared for my safety and wanted me to leave… as far as I know she never addressed the employee or did anything to make up for the horrible incident I experienced, the only thing I can assume is that he went to the back to get a weapon and she was just trying to get me out of the store as quick as possible before he returned.

The fact that they have people who are that much of a loose cannon that it’s unsafe for me to order food inside tells me that someone from Tropical Headquarters needs to pay this location a visit and reassess how things are being run. And the fact that I was basically shoved out of the store with no apology for the behavior of the employee and without any evidence of the employee being disciplined really blows my mind. This would never fly at any other restaurant.
