I paid extra to have Nutella on my acai bowl and received none. I was the only customer and the only order at time of pickup.
I placed an order for pickup and when I arrived it was ready. When I took it to the car to eat it before I ran to an appointment, I realized it had no Nutella. I went back in and was told that the Nutella is now on top of the acai but under all the toppings instead of drizzled across the top. I went back out to my car and brushed aside all the toppings and found zero Nutella. Nothing in my bowl was chocolate or brown or in any way could have possibly been Nutella. I was disappointed especially because it’s an up charge, but didn’t have the energy to run in a third time and continue to argue about it.
The acai bowls have gotten smaller as the price has gone up and up and up.
I will not be back to this location and may discontinue purchasing from tropical smoothie as a company.

I always have amazing experiences at Tropical Smoothie in mount dora! The smoothies were delicious and refreshing, but what truly made my visit special was the outstanding service from Shante. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It’s always a pleasure to be served by someone so warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!

Tropical Smoothie is one of my favorite places to go, I order regularly from there. I understand things happen, but sending out cold chicken quesadillas & an old smoothie bowl that’s literally melted is uncalled for. I didn’t realize until I got 5 mins down the road the smoothie bowl was completely melted bubbles. Nasty sour strawberries, & three chucks of pineapple. $25 for some food you can’t even enjoy. Ridiculous!

I go to Tropical Smoothie almost everyday. The employees have even learned me & my boyfriend’s names which is such a personal & welcoming touch! Shaunte’ is such a great manager & I can tell she really does her absolute best to make customers feel welcomed & wanting to come back! She accommodates how you want your smoothie & makes great & knowledgeable suggestions!

Hey service was immaculate!!!! Welcoming me at the door, smiling and friendly! staff really when above and beyond to be me make the prefect smoothie . The flat bread was hot and fresh!!! Nice place to refuel for my lunch break!!!!! The staff work hard, dealing with morning and lunch rush with little staff, with grace and enthusiasm!!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE !!!! We have purchased several and I mean several acai bowls and we pay extra for items. NEVER DO THEY PUT THEM ON BUT YET CHARGE YOU!!!! I even called and spoke with the manager.. she said bring them in and we will add them. So I sent daughter went bk in and the manager was extremely rude. I have gone to several Tropical smoothie the one in Mt Dora is the worst !!!!

I stopped this morning at this location with some special needs clients .Shante and another young man was working. The two of them was so great and patience with my clients and I’m so happy the two of them was there this morning. This is the only location I will take them for now own .

On the search for the best acao bowl. I loved the chunks of granola as opposed to loose granola. It helped not to get stuck in your teeth. Fresh fruit and quick service.
