I knew my bank account would be in trouble when Tropical Smoothie came to the neighborhood 🙂 I’ve always been pleased with the food and drinks here! Staff are friendly and hard working.
My only complaint would be about management. Twice this week I’ve gone in around lunchtime when it’s busy and seen they were poorly understaffed. Some customers were frustrated, understandably so, because their online orders were taking 20 minutes longer than the given time.
Today was one of those experiences. It’s a Sunday, so I don’t expect management to be there in person. However, I would hope a manager wouldn’t leave two girls high and dry during the busy hours when the scheduled third teammate had to call out. Ideally, a great manager would come in to assist during the busy time. The two girls behind the counter were hustlin’! Even with frustrated customers, they were doing their absolute best. I didn’t catch their names, but whoever was working around noon on 3/8/26 needs a raise! And I hope whatever the manager(s) had to do today was extra important, leaving these girls on their own.
I will, of course, be back (probably tomorrow) because I love the smoothies here!

How do 2 of the exact same smoothies look and taste completely different? I have tried this location multiple times giving them grace since they were new, but every time they have been terrible. Both of these smoothies have a disgusting metallic taste to them. The food is hit or miss (usually miss). One night we didn’t even receive all of our food. Will not be going back anymore.

I placed an online order at 3:05 pm. App provided the average order pick up time of 3:12 pm. When I arrived- Saw that it wasn’t ready yet. Sat down and waited. 10 min pass- still nothing. Kept waiting. I waited almost 30 min at this point for an in-store order. After 30 min wait- found out they didn’t have an ingredient for the smoothie I ordered. Okay. Went with my second option. But at this point- I waited close to 40 min for my order. The girls were trying – I’ll give them that.
But I had just wasted my entire lunch break waiting. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Probably won’t return to this location for a while.
