Really nice atmosphere. Got the pulled pork sandwich. Delicious and tender. Only complaint was the server was a little slow. Blamed the cooks but not to be rude, the cooks don’t get the drinks. Might have been that it was Friday but still. So we had to get our stuff to go because we were late meeting some people and found later that she hadn’t given us any sauce and forgot my husband’s green beans. I’ve been a server before-if you think people are upset the last thing you do is send them out without checking that the food is right. However the food really was delicious so we will definitely be back.

Went here with a group on a good referral, the atmosphere is cool. The food is what you go to any restaurant to enjoy and the food was not good. Got the ribs personally and they were way over cooked, dry and tough. Another person had pulled pork and it was way dry also. Small portions and high price. Service was not good, had an Iced Tea and needed a refill near the beginning of my meal, never got it until we were almost ready to leave. Staff is not trained well or courteous, when we told our server about the ribs and dry pulled pork meals she responded, well everyone else thinks they are great. There are way better options that truly care about customers and the food prep and quality. Out of our group there was only one said there food was great and she only had a salad.

My last trip there wasn’t so great, so I see why the reviews are all over the place. I wasn’t greeted, overcharged and shorted food.

First off the food was great! Definitely the most tender brisket I have had. I will say the bbq sauces left me wanting more. They had 3 options( sweet, spicy-which I thought barely qualified to be called spicy, and a tangy mustard style.) All were good but I expected more. The building was awesome with the full skylight ceiling. My biggest ? was the service. The waitress was a little hasty even though there only 3 tables when we came in. And she came to give us the check with her mouth full of food. She was chewing and covering her mouth while she was talking to us.. Now I know that servers have to eat on the fly, but please finish whats in your mouth before you come to serve a table. It was a little off-putting. The food alone will bring me back though hopefully with a better overall experience.

I have returned here for lunch on several occasions and each time I have had exceptional service and really tasty food. The pulled pork is smoked to perfection, the brisket is generously seasoned and delightfully smoked as well. They offer a full bar with a fair selection of craft beer too. My only disappointment is they stopped serving jalapeno cornbread with their meals, reason for the 4 star rating…Please bring it back!

Food was good atmosphere was awesome. We had a great waitress who was attentive and fun. Portions are out of control, got the brisket plate and potato salad was not able to eat it all.

The meat is good… but I ordered green beans which are a staple at many BBQ restaurants. The last time I had them at Triple Play they were great, this time it tasted like they cooked them in SUGAR SYRUP!! Green beans should NOT be sweet! The stupid part is I ordered bread pudding and it was bland with NO sweetening in it! Very strange…and my husband had to wait nearly 40 minutes for someone to bring his beer — we were done eating by that time.

Wonderful service. I have to give a shout out to Amy A. for being awesome. I got the nachos with half pork and half chicken. The portions were huge and had quite a bit of meat. I could taste the smoked flavor. We didn’t finish them between the 2 of us. It was he first time I had checked out the facility and can wait to come back on the summer. It’s a fun promenade.

Food was ok. Waitress’s very friendly and very quick to help. Building is really good. Sauces lacked original flavors, the spicy was just barely spicier than the mild. The meat was decent. Far better BBQ to be had in johnson county

Excited about a new restaurant in Franklin. Very nice building and atmosphere. Unfortunately, that is where it stopped. We had salmon (which was burnt), pulled pork (extremely dry, bordering on inedible), pulled chicken (so dry it was crumbled chicken) and the cornbread was undercooked. The worst part of the experience was the service. Our drinks were brought out and the waiter was not using a platter and because he struggled carrying them, they were only filled about half way and had about 3 pieces of ice. When I ask for a refill, I requested more ice, the refill came out with 8 small pieces of ice. I went to the bar and got a cup of ice. My daughter and I ask for another refill and he only brought hers. I went to the bar and got my refill. Typically with BBQ, the food gets to the table quick, because the meat is smoked ahead of time, however it took a long time to get our meal. In most cases, good service can compensate for poor service, but when both are bad, it is not a good combination. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
