We were looking for Mexican close by sweetland amphitheater and we found this place. You order at the counter, pick your main dish, then a protein, then a topping. I got nachos and my husband got tacos. It’s not traditional Mexican, but it was fast and really good. Our food came out in about two minutes. If you get a meal, chips and salsa comes with it. The salsa is out, so you can get what you want and however much you want. Great prices, too.

The location couldn’t be better, and the atmosphere is modern. However, the food was disappointing. If you’re looking for authentic tacos or real Mexican flavors, this is not the place. On top of that, the prices are higher than expected.

Decided to try a new (to me) place in downtown LaGrange and wasn’t disappointed. At first, i described this place as a Chipotle type kind of restaurant. I’m not the biggest Chipotle fan, this place blows Chipotle out of the water! The ordering style is similar, but the taste and quality is SO much better! I got the bowl with chicken and my ma got the quesadilla. the quesadilla looked so good, I’ll be trying that the next time I go back (there will definitely be a next time!). I liked their salsa/sauce bar too. Not a lot of options, but what was there was amazing. I’ll take quality over quantity every day of the week. All in all, I highly recommend this spot for good food and nice atmosphere.

First time we tried Trios we ordered there and dined in. The service was good and the food was pretty good too. Tacos were tasty, and comes with free chips and salsa which were decent. Small little place but would be nice to sit out on the patio in nice weather.
We’ve since ordered to go and delivery, and the food is always hit and miss. Tacos are usually reliable. But bowls are not worth it — “lettuce” base is a sprinkle of wilted lettuce so don’t bother, just get rice and even then it’s not that great.
Guacamole is terrible and salsa has even been hit and miss.
I really really want to like this place and support it and the nice staff — but it’s just not worth a guessing game on if the food will be good or bad.

Stopped by for lunch today. First visit since moving to the area. Cozy little spot. Vibrant colors. Could tell they had just had a lunch rush. I went for the grouper Street tacos. Tasty. If I had any critique on the place, it would be the presenting of the menu. I originally wanted an order of 3 tacos, like it said on the menu that was an option. But was told grouper only came in orders of 2. Totally fine, just wasn’t clear from the menu. The menu reads sort of like an a-la-cart style menu. No real “meals” displayed. Based on the feedback today, looks like there actually are meals, just not visible on the existing menu. Everything else was fine though.

A friend and myself stopped by for a quick lunch on a Saturday. Walking inside it looked like a mini sports bar. They had multiple tvs up with different games on. The menu was small and quick to order as advertised. Our food came out within five minutes. The salsa was good with a little kick to it.
Only negative experience i had was the price for the food. $15 on average with a drink if you don’t get the specials.
Overall I love this place and have went twice in two weeks!

I wish I could give five stars but based on my overall experience it is a 3 and here’s why.
The price for this skinny margarita and steak bowl was 27.50 and I later was told I was undercharged because I wanted onions, cilantro, lettuce, tomato and sour cream. That is very average for a bowl and a Mexican style restaurant but didn’t fit into any of the “styles” it was a combination of two styles. Therefore what is pictured on my review is almost a 30.00 meal. I would return but I’d be hesitant to eat the food. I’d probably share something with whoever I come with because the price was too high. I see in the replies that the prices have been updated so we shall see. I really did not like the chips at all. The salsa also was bland to me. The rice was delicious and the steak was good too.
The atmosphere is a solid 5 stars. Beautiful dining area, gorgeous bathrooms (although the little button on the lock didn’t work and someone walked in on me) but the patio is the show stopper. You can sit and chat for hours and it felt like “ATL” vibes for sure.
My margarita was honestly one of the best tasting margaritas I’ve ever had. This is the only place in town with a skinny margarita with no sugar.

I’m baffled how you can cook such flavorless food? It’s almost as if they are allergic to spice. The nachos were luke warm and for some reason they put parsley on it. Parsley not cilantro. Yes they are related but taste not like each other. My wife said to me “This tastes like it was cooked by someone who has never tasted Mexican food.” I should have asked for my money back it was that bad. It was so bad I’m angry. Food should not make you angry. I rarely leave bad reviews but I felt I need to warn people about this place.

Despite hearing about the lack luster food, my friend and I decided to give this place a chance. Great location, great building, very clean bathroom, and that’s where the good news ends. I am shocked to see so many 4+ reviews, but not that surprised if the people leaving the reviews really like taco bell quality tacos (even that is being very generous). Although, even taco bell offers ground beef (the most basic of taco meats) unlike this place. I see they will now be offering it “by request” but it shouldn’t be something that people have to request. Ground beef isn’t a groundbreaking food concept.
That being said, I ordered a steak taco “spicy style,” which just means it comes with a few slices of jalapeño, a drizzle of their watered down “free salsa,” and pineapple cubes. I guess that’s supposed to be a nod to al pastor tacos with pineapple, but it doesn’t taste like that at all. My friend ordered a chicken taco which was also disappointing. The chicken has a texture suspiciously similar to canned chunk chicken and they topped the taco with black eyed peas and iceberg lettuce.
They advertise free salsa like you’re getting a good deal, but it’s really just the salsa bar (like Moe’s but very watered down). Extremely thin consistency and virtually flavorless. Not a chip dipping salsa by any means. The tortillas had a rubbery consistency, and at some point I gave up trying to chew it and just used my fork instead. The tortilla chips were truly worse than tostitos chips, and overall I could not recommend the food any less.
Can’t speak to the quality of their drinks as I only ordered a fountain drink.

These employees were so sweet and understanding, I loved getting to chat with them. They also make a mean nacho, and I really appreciate them still serving me like :30 before close. I tried to have a simple order but I also know how annoying those last customers are so I appreciate you guys
