It was a group of 7 and we were first for Sunday brunch. We got our drinks and ordered. The food was cold, the grits were not done, the French toast was not Frenching that day. Our server was good. He worked well even though the food was sent back. We asked for the manager and she took forever to handle the situation. The servers were on phones and eating at the bar. This place has so much potential to be better for it to be a high scale spot. This is the 3rd and last visit to Trio.

Everything was great, the atmosphere, the food, my drink “Drunk in Love” tasted really good. Only negative was the price of the drink. It was too pricey. $20. I would recommend it. And the fact it’s black owned was a major plus!

Will never attend again. First when we got there at 8pm the doors were locked even though people were inside made us wait outside 15 minutes (in heels) because they couldn’t find the key. Only 3 dinner options available no healthy options. Messed up drink orders and tried to charge a $10 entry fee after we were seated and ordered food. For the prices they charge they should be a lot more organized and have more option.

The DJ and Sunday brunch vibe was good. However, it literally took 2 hours from when I ordered my food until when I received my food. This is extremely unacceptable. The efficiency of the service was poor. Hopefully this review will encourage the owners and the staff to work more efficiently and effectively . After 2 hours, I finally received my food within 15 minutes after stressing to the waitress that I had a flight to catch within the next 2 hours. Again, hopefully this establishment will work on the efficiency of their service.

THE DJ WAS JAMMING ALL NIGHT. THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. After waiting 45 mins for food I received mine ( it was wrong) LAMB chops were small and had NO flavor. My girlfriend didn’t receive anything. After waiting an additional 30 mins or so, DREA or somebody came out and said the order was messed up and it’ll be an additional 30-45 mins before she would receive her order ( nope don’t want it). She was offered a COMPLIMENTARY drink, after waiting 30 more mins. She never received the drink. THEN I was told that the bill was taken care of. AFTER I LEFT TO GET THE CAR THEY TOOK MY GIRLFRIEND A BILL FOR $109.

I just left this establishment. The atmosphere was phenomenal as well as the dj. But when it comes down to the servers they are extremely slow and not attentive. We waited an hour for our drinks that didn’t have any Alcohol in it and then waited an additional 45 minutes for our food. This is a great establishment but they need to work better on their servers, bartenders and cooks. Only thing I’ll give a 5 star to is the dj that’s the only reason I stayed the time that I did stay.

Will not return. Arrived at 11:15pm, had reservations but no table was actually reserved for us Menu includes multiple $21 cocktails with name only, no description to tell you what’s actually in them. Our waitress was horrible, we waited about 40mins for water. The drink order wasn’t correct. I had to chase her down to correct it. We were never checked on. The food hasn’t arrived by 12:45 so my friend hunted down the waitress to tell her we didn’t want it (club closed at 1am) and she immediately claimed it was ready, but then disappeared in the kitchen to make them throw something together. 2 out of the 3 food orders were wrong but yet there’s an automatic 18% gratuity. They have upscale prices but no upscale service. The music was good but DJ played the clean version of serval songs. Overall not a good spot at all
