I came to my favorite spot for dinner after work like I always do on Wednesdays.I work for medstar and a lot of us love coming here for breakfast, lunch and dinner every week. I always get the same things and the cooks always knows EXACTLY how I like my stuff made. The cook with the red dreads, the bald one and the one that wears a hat all the time are my favorite cooks in there. They are always welcoming, smiling, laughing and always just give good vibes when walking in so you know they make the food with LOVE! First red flag none of the three were there but I still decided to order and lo and behold food was TRASH! This must be a new cook because I never seen him before. Atmosphere TRASH! Vibes DID NOT PASS! I don’t know but the energy was just different all in all. It’s like when certain cooks are there the vibes be perfect. Food comes out fast, HOT and good but when they aren’t there that place is so dull. The cashier guy always giving weird vibes to females, always wearing glasses and just doesn’t have great customer service AT ALL. This experience was a 2/10 and I hope they do better. From now on I think I’ll just get me a smoothie and be on my way.

We been coming there for the past few weeks! The vibes are right the people are cool. Only problem is they never have the same cooks so its really hard to order food!! We either go morning when their bald cook is there or night time wen the cook with the colored locks is there. We still come for drinks but food is out the question an to expensive for anybody to just cook your food. I don’t think we will be coming back either.. we love to the drinks but we loved the food more. Sorry

This is my favorite neighborhood spot to get a quick bite, sundries for the house, or just friendly conversation. My favorite menu items are the turkey bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches; steak and cheese sandwich; and jerk mumbo chicken wings during happy hour. You can dine-in, or take out. I’d suggest calling ahead to reduce wait time if you’re limited. Occasional special events like brunch or big sports events bring the community out and pack the place.

Oh yeah!
They hook up that good food!

The flavors are popping off my tongue as I enjoy the most juicy steak & cheese. This is somewhere to stop by and watch the game while you eat in their social seating area (with enough TVs and comfortable chairs).

I was just stopping by after a visit to Catholic University. My choice was better than many alternatives (McDonalds, and such). The atmosphere is “family/college”.

I’m coming back here again!

I visited Trinity Grill & Social Market for the first time today after a family member recommended it. Sadly, that will also be my last visit.

After checking the on-screen menu, I went to the counter to order. The guy at the counter (Black man with locs) took my order. Since it was my first time, I started to ask a question:
“What’s type of fis—”
“Whiting.” he interrupted, cutting me off.

I brushed it off and said, “Okay, I’ll take the fish.”
“Do you want fries?” he asked.

I looked back up at the menu to double-check and started to reply, “It comes with fri—”
He cut me off again and said, while waving his hands, “I know what it says up there, but that’s not what I asked you. I asked you do you want fries.”

I was stunned. I didn’t expect to be talked to like that, especially as a first-time customer. He was short, rude, and completely lacked basic customer service. I stood there for a second, shook my head, and said, “Give me a minute.” I took a picture of the menu and left without ordering.

About 10 minutes later, I called to ask for the manager. The same voice answered:
“May I speak with the owner or manager?”
“He ain’t here.”
“Do you know when he will be in?”
“I’on know. He’s the boss. He comes to work when he wants to.”

As a Black man myself, I was honestly embarrassed and disappointed. We already fight stereotypes about professionalism, and to see someone treat customers like that is disheartening. My family member who referred me said she won’t be going back either.

If this is the attitude representing your business, you’ll lose more customers than you gain. My first visit to Trinity Grill & Social Market was my last — and that’s unfortunate, because word of mouth can make a business or kill a business.

Had a great steak egg and cheese from this spot. Used to go there when it was Trinity Deli and loved it. This place hasn’t skipped a beat, the sandwich was huge and delicious!

The customer service was on point. The lack of available mocktails was not acceptable. I’m glad to see it’s Black operated now. The Dunkin came there for was not known to the bartender although a social media content creator posted and suggested it. I find that unacceptable. I was told I had to buy my own soda for a drink they advertised. Literally isn’t that why I would be paying for the soda then have to buy the drink I would be paying twice. That was not ok. Despite all that the food was good, a long wait time. Definitely good customer service they just need improvement with the selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Don’t advertise if you don’t have them

Went there today for the very first time after hearing good things about them and I have to be honest it was not what I was expecting. The food I received is not of what I ordered. I asked for soft scrambled eggs and they looked almost fried my waffle tasted like dough and the poor little sausage was hard and dry. I don’t think I’ll visit them again and I hope this doesn’t stop you from going and having your own experience

Trinity Social Club in Northeast Washington, D.C. is your one-stop shop for great food, drinks, and even a grocery or two. The music is fantastic, and the staff makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. I’m so happy I found this place and will definitely be back. Shout out to the bartender!

I stumbled upon this cute market during my work day. It’s a convenience store, but it also has a grill area where staff prepare hot food. I had a bacon, egg & cheese sandwich in the late afternoon. They serve breakfast sandwiches all day. The food was prepared quickly and it was good. The staff was very friendly. I’ll be back!
