Excellent customer service and wonderful food! I got the daily special which was a giant bowl of plantain soup and another extra plate of beef and rice, salad, and sweet plantains, all for just $11.50! They also let me sub out the rice for salad since I’m watching my carbs. I’ve been practicing my Spanish and the ladies were so patient and kind with me. I loved the music and decor, definitely made me feel at home. I’m definitely bringing my Cuban mom here next time!

I work in the same plaza and I had stopped going hoping the things would change overtime and I went today and they had me waiting for over 15 mins and there was 3 servers and only 4 tables and they were just looking an older lady came to try to take my order and she started my order with a chocolate milk and she told the tall skinny guy to keep taking me and he was just standing there doing god knows what and I told the kid I was with I should’ve taken him somewhere else and there was a guy there and he said well go ahead and leave if you don’t wanna wait and I tried to keep myself calm and left I will not be going back there Nomore I am very disappointed because I actually used to go there for breakfast but now they lost a loyal customer for having bad service and it’s not the first time that it happens and I know it won’t be the last time so if you were looking at the reviews to try to go there do not go !

The review is for the service received last weekend. I have been here many times and always loved it so decided to bring a couple friends. I was so embarrassed when the waitress not only forgot my friend’s order, but barely checked in on us after I kept raving about how great this restaurant usually is. Thankfully I thought to go up front to the register and ask about my friend’s food after waiting a couple of minutes thinking it will come out because it was never taken. So she had to wait for hers while we all had ours. By the time we finally got a refill of water or even have her return to the table, we were nearly done with our food. The couple times she did comeby she left so quickly before we could ask another question and we were never rude. The food really is incredible and taste great, but the service has definitely gone downhill.

Great food! I don’t speak Spanish but was able to communicate and get exactly what I wanted. We had the special, which was chicken, rice, salad, plantain and soup. We also added chicken empanadas and a cheese arepa. The empanadas have a great green sauce.

First, the steak was really good . I had calentado with perico and steak. It was my second time for the same dish. The place was clean food was outstanding. Customers service was normal. They had my order wrong but they fixed it. My wife and my kid had a good time. We created amazing memories at that restaurant. Really cool decorations. Only on thing I didn’t get much too many bikes on the wall?

Food was amazing good like my friend Linda was to make for me! However, the service I received was absolutely AWFUL!! I waited forever to be served and was finally seen by a waitress from the other side of the restaurant who finally realized I had not been served and stopped my waitress and told her. Then she still was not pleasant or smiling. If I had not been referred to Trigos, I would have gotten up and left! I really hope they retrain their staff and improve their customer service. My advice is to get the food to-go or hope you get the one waitress who saw me.

I wish I could give them ZERO stars. Worst Colombian food I’ve ever had in my life! I placed an order to go for the first time and even gave them a tip. The food is old, chewy and burnt. If you don’t have fresh food at least warn your customer. 50$ to the garbage. NEVER AGAIN!
