Trigo did not let us down. The authentic Cuban / Spaniard food was delicious.
The ambiance was warm and inviting, the staff was attentive and genuinely friendly, and the food… absolutely incredible.

The food was delicious and the service was great. My husband had the pluma ibérica – my first time trying it — so soft and flavorful, with the perfect sear. Highly recommend this small gem of a restaurant. The wine selection is ample. I opted for a sangria and it was a nice size with fresh fruit. The cappuccino was great too. We will be back.

Best Shakes In Hialeah! The name fits its best drink “Trigo” shake. Oh and they offer dairy free shakes as well. Love their unique breakfast menu and lunch options. Truly a hidden gem in Hialeah. The pictures speak for itself. Definitely will be coming back!

Great little place clean and charming. Completely unexpected for the industrial belt of Hialeah. Great selection of wine, good food. I had the classic cuban sweet sandwich for lunch. Beers are $5 (and ice cold) and coffee is fantastic! Love the latin hospitality here as well. Also good wifi if you need to work. Have to come back for the live music. Highly recommended in the area. Seemed like a great breakfast menu as well.

Just left Trigo Cafe with my family. The staff was extremely friendly. We do not know a lot of Cuban meals, however, Julio and Kathy explained the menu to us and I could tell they were happy to do so. The customer service there was really on another level that I wasn’t expecting.

The Cuban sandwiches were great. The Yucca fries are amazing. The croquettes and empanadas were so good you could just go there to have a meal of those (many varieties).

The Trigo Milkshake was very tasty–we would get again, it consisted of this unique puffed wheat milk combination that we’ve never had in a dessert before.

To top it all off, the dessert, which is made by the owner’s 85 year old mother, is something you need to try. Oh, and the flan, it was truly the best Flan I’ve ever had!

We don’t live around here but when we come back we will be coming here.

Very disappointed this time, I ordered a side of grits and one fried egg, and they charged me $15, the lady said that it was the same price of the shrimp and grits bowl.
I am a Trigo customer for years, and I will never going back again, not mentioning the rude manners of the manager, at the time to offer us a table, is the lady with long hair and glasses.

The food were very good. I love their brunch. Trigo shakes was also great. The location was kinda hard go spot out with small parking lot. Staffs are very helpful and care about their customers. Would definitely go back.

Can honestly say I usually order from here through Uber eats and door dash. Today was my first visit in person and I was attended by rude and condescending staff Carolina. She will be the reason I will never visit this location again. What a shame because I was pleased through takeout. I asked for an iced cafe con leche and she didn’t ask me the size and I ended up with an iced coffee in this cup.

The worst experience I have had. Ordered breakfast and ordered the eggs over medium with the whites cooked. My eggs were burnt and the whites were raw and slimy on my egg. I let Caro, the recommended manager, know about my eggs and she didn’t even ask me if I wanted my eggs to be cooked to enjoy my food she just said that she put in the order correctly and I left my eggs since the term of the egg were disgusting. My mom’s eggs were also the same consistency as mine and my mother explained to Caro that she has a chronic kidney illness and is immunosuppressant, and she still ignored that and didn’t offer my mom to take her food to get a cooked a bit more. She also didn’t provide water to my aunt and had a sort of attitude with us. $40 wasted on such a low quality food. She should be taken off as manager!!
