My friends and I tried this for the first time today and everything was amazing. We came in around noon on a Friday. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We loved the 99¢ martini lunch special. All of the food was very good but the standouts to me were the spicy tuna crispy rice and the lobster Mac and cheese. I am extremely picky about my Mac and cheese but this one was by far the best I’ve ever had. I stole multiple bites from my friend and will be ordering it for myself next time. We loved everything very much and will be back.

Tribute in Coralville was a 10/10 in every way! I am celiac & wanted to go somewhere highly rated in town with choices besides a salad & quality food. I home cook all my meals so eating out is a treat and a trick to find somewhere that makes me feel like its a home cooked meal.
From the moment we walked in, the service, food, and atmosphere were incredible. They were extremely knowledgeable and friendly about celiac needs, which made the experience beyond my expectations
I ordered the gluten-free grilled cheese with tomato soup and a side of the garlic mashed potatoes — everything was cooked exceptionally well and full of flavor. It’s rare to find gluten-free comfort food done this perfectly! My husband got the fish & chips and absolutely loved it.
The manager stopped by to check in and was so friendly, and our waitress was very attentive, kind, and helpful throughout the meal.
Highly recommend — we will definitely be back!

What a treat it was to eat at the Tribute last night. Plenty of excellent servers, the food was top notch, the place was neat as a pin. They also have a very nice outdoor area, too. The menu isn’t huge, but its all really prepared nicely and is very tasty. I expected it to be noisy, but it wasn’t. Our party could carry on a nice conversation even when the place eventually filled almost to capacity. I’m looking forward to going back again.

Super chill atmosphere. While there are TV’s above the bar (and since it is not a huge establishment, you can notice them) they were not turned up loud nor a deterrent to a very pleasant dinner. They can completely accommodate a gluten free diet, the gluten free bread was delicious. We ordered the artichoke dip, super delish! The Tribute burger was good, also came with a gluten free bun! Macaroni and Cheese with grilled chicken was yummy and super filling, I took home half the Mac and cheese.

Tribute is my favorite restaurant in the entire area. Their new menu is exceptional. The tuna crispy rice is definitely one to try. Their cocktails are wonderful and I always enjoy my time every time I visit. So many of their new items are unique and honestly I’ve never seen an appetizer section tailored so perfect to me lol. One of the general managers there recognized my boyfriend and I by face and made great conversation and served us a champagne flute on the house for our anniversary. Would highly recommend this place! Can’t wait to go back.

Visited on a football weekend. Made reservations a week out, vibes in restaurant were good. Menu is very limited but food was tasty. We were very impressed with the service…servers consistently refilled our drinks during our meal.

Hair served in the food when we stopped by for lunch on 7/29. Of significance I’m bald, like shave my head and shine it up Mr Clean bald. Took some family to University hospital and decided to get meals to go on the way out of town on I-80. Was told how amazing the Gouda mac & cheese was at Tributes.
The one bite of chicken and Mac I had totally supported that idea, however, there was a long, thick black hair in my food with the second bite. There is no reason the staff are not using hair nets or hats when preparing food. Would not recommend based solely on sanitary issues they must have. The meal itself for two orders of Gouda mac & cheese with chicken was around $43 with tax, and I left a $10 tip. Hopefully my other family member got a $53 value out of a single serving of macaroni and cheese with chicken.
The bald host gentleman and the bartender lady were very friendly, so shout out to a hospitable staff. Still won’t be back though, because hair, ewww.

Every time we’re anywhere near Iowa City, we make it a point to eat here, never disappointed. Best Chicken Sandwich in the US. Don’t believe me, try it!

We were in town celebrating my birthday with our family and decided to stop here for an early dinner. We had heard the food was delicious but of course you hear that all the time. To be honest, I wasn’t really expecting anything special and I couldn’t have been more wrong. The chicken sandwich was the best I’ve had. The chicken was breaded and cooked perfectly. The flavors went so very well together and my husband who is a bit of a meatball connoisseur was truly delighted. My picky children loved their burgers and chicken as well and each plate was cleaned in record time. Not only was the food excellent but the young gentlemen who was our server was amazing. You can always tell when a server cares that his guests have a good time or not even when they are rushed and busy. I grew up in a supper club, a term not heard very often anymore, and I do know what I am talking about. If you visit this establishment and do not have one of the best experiences, its only because it was an off night which of course every business has. Go again, you will not be disappointed. As for me & my family… we will stop by whenever in town! Thank you for a wonderful time!
