The best bbq sandwich I’ve had since visiting my hometown in KY. The onion rings were huge and crispy just like I like them. I like the presentation and the customer service was spectacular. I was impressed, happy, and full!

First time going and the customer service was extremely courteous and professional. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming.

The food overall was pretty bland and could use some seasonings. I’m not a professional chef nor food critique. However, my Grandmother has had and ran a couple of restaurants, and her food was always on point.

1.)Some of our Pineapple Coconut Shrimps were undercooked, and the coconut was subtle in taste. (I recommend cooking the shrimp to a golden brown, and also recommend homemade coconut batter.)

2.)Coleslaw was bland. I couldn’t taste the vinegar or any seasonings. It tasted like cold cabbage. (I recommend adding a squirt of lemon/lime, a dash of sugar, a dash of salt/pepper and other necessary spices/seasonings.)

3.)The Chicken Fried Steak was bland as well. The vegetables were delicious and on key (I recommend brining the steaks prior to battering. The batter was peppery and overpowering.)

4.) The sweet potato fries were undercooked and some were wilted, however the salt was perfect. (I recommend adding an Italian/sweet and salty season to the fries and frying them just a little bit longer.

5.) The BBQ sauce didn’t smack me with any new flavors, pretty basic sauce, and not enough sauce was given. (I recommend offering different flavors of sauce during ordering. I don’t know if they have other options but I wasn’t given an option to choose.)

Overall I was satisfied with the food in a small town setting.

I will definitely be going back and give an updated review. I look forward to my next visit.

Thank You.

This place is so cool. Tons of antique stuff hanging on the walls, the kind of stuff you don’t see in every other place. The food is not left behind by the atmosphere either. It was super good. We both had specials of the day and they were definitely special. One of our sides was the smoked potato salad and if you have never had smoked potato salad, do yourself a favor and order it you’re ever here, because it was fantastic! Deb the owner came over and conversed with us and we got to know each other a little bit. Really cool people with a great cohesive team. Beer was real cold and we’re looking forward to the next time we can get over to this area to try some more items on the menu. This place has been around for 5 years and it’s probably going to be around for 25 more if they keep this up! Outstanding!

Great food, great ambiance, and great service. We got the pulled pork sandwich and the beef dip. The bun on the pork sandwich was so good holy cow. Also make sure you ask for bbq sauce for pulled pork 🙂

Onion rings were SO GOOD. Crispy, fresh. And the sweet potato fries and regular fries were super fresh and delicious too. We’d love to come back.

When picking up take-out, open your wrapped food and be sure it is what you ordered.
We ordered 2 pulled pork sandwiches. We got home 45 min later and realized our sandwiches were beef with au jus/French dip. They were okay, but we were very disappointed.

This place is worth the stop. If you are heading out of Spokane, try to make the effort to dine here. The smoked baked beans were really good, as well as the Reuben and pulled pork sandwiches. Service was great and the staff very nice. Highly recommend.

Smoked meat had a great flavor, Mac was pretty dry, service was interesting, seemed like new staff with little communication of who had done what, everyone was very friendly
