Was looking for a nice place to go for an early Valentine’s dinner and googled romantic restaurants. This place showed up on the list and it did not disappoint. The ambiance was great. It is a small restaurant inside the lobby of The Henry hotel.

The menu here is excellent. It’s on a tablet, shows a photograph of each order and details allergens. We came for a nightcap after dinner and I was excited that they had a dairy and gluten-free dessert item (not on the menu). Nice surprise!

Went to dinner with family. Our server was nice enough but was also dry on personality. The food was beautifully prepared but lacked seasoning. The french onion soup and cookie dessert were the best parts.

Such a disappointment. Stop making excuses about supply chain this and difficulty in hiring that. Do you want to be a good restaurant or not? You are not meeting any threshold of excellence for what should be expected at a hotel of this branding.

TRIA is located in The Henry Hotel and my group of four ate here on our last night in the Detroit area. Our server told us how amazing the bartender was, but we were all disappointed in our cocktails. I make better drinks at home. Between the guests, we had the smoked wings, ultimate side salad, lobster stuffed crab cakes, club sandwich and spiced apple crusted whitefish. The crab cakes were really wet on the inside. The club sandwich was the best item on the table. I regret not ordering one for myself. None of the other items had any real flavor. We were hoping for a really nice and amazing meal, but the price of the food ($200 for 4 people) didn’t match the taste and quality. If the cost would have been less, then I would have rated TRIA 3 stars instead.

I went for the Easter brunch buffet and wasn’t really impressed. It was overpriced $62/person, in my opinion and mimosas were $10 a piece!! They also automatically added a 20% gratuity no matter the party size. I used to go to brunch @ Gulios in the Hyatt and the brunch was much better. Better selection for your $$

My wife and I took a weekend to ourselves and decided to stay at The Henry. We decided to stay in and have all our meals in house at the Tria and this turned out to be the best decision. If you choose to do the same then be sure to ask to be seated in Paul’s area for dinner. He was absolutely fabulous as his attention to us was as if we were his only table to which it wasn’t. The following evening Paul remembered my wife and I both and greeted us by our names as if he had known us forever. For breakfast we were greeted by the hostess Ashia who took care of us as if we were sitting at her breakfast table in her home. From the sitting to the bill, we could not have asked for a better experience than with her. If you choose to belly up to the bar then you will not be disappointed with their huge selection of bottled spirits. Yes there is wine, a selection of bottled beers was well as beer on tap. Be sure to say hello to Dean and Melissa for us. When it comes to bartenders, with those two serving you your favorite poison you should not need any other bartender ever and you can tell they really enjoy their job. I’d give my experience 6 stars but 5 is the max I’m allowed.
