Cute Italian restaurant with good service from am older gentleman (not sure is the manager or just a server). Walked in without anyone in there in a busy Sunday lunchtime. We sat down and got some good dishes since our expectation was kind of low. Food was decent for a tourist spot and liked the vibe.

Their seating, which floats in the middle of the restaurant, is a awkward.
The food is good though. I order the spaghetti meatballs and was surprised to find large large meatballs. Although good,not the best.
Actually, the fried calamari is so much better even though it’s an appetizer.

Our second visit to Mauricio’s was very disappointing. The salmon dish was overcooked, dry and lacked flavor. In my opinion, it was one of the worst dishes I have ever had. I took three bites and could not eat it. That’s a $40 dish. Our waiter never checked on us to ask how everything was, neither did the owner who was walking around. We saw the waiter when he came to give us the check and instead of asking how everything was he asked if I needed a box — after seeing I left the entire dish. We live nearby and had been once before and enjoyed the service. We won’t be back. Consistency is important.

I was recently looking for a caterer for our company holiday party. One morning I drove by and saw a QR code for Maurizio’s Trattoria. I had never been here, but submitted an inquiry, and heard from the owner that same day. His authentic accent blew me away 😉 He told us we had to come in and try it before going with him. He was super kind and helpful. Not only did we love the food when we came in person, my 20+ person party loved the food at our celebration. Sometimes catering can be sub-par, dry or just not as good as the in-restaurant experience. This was not the case with Maurizio’s. Maurizio helped us craft the PERFECT menu, just the right size, everything was so delicious. Highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms, lemon chicken, bolognese pasta and mushroom pasta too (they don’t skimp on mushrooms!!). Reasonably priced too! And they hand delivered it all. It will probably become a yearly tradition 🙂

Excellent local spot for authentic and delicious Italian. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, the staff is fantastic, very attentive, and the food is excellent. The chicken Marsala is the best I’ve ever had and the penne with vodka sauce was also divine. Penne was cooked to al dente perfection. The Caesar salad was delicious, love the dressing, it’s light and fresh. I’ll definitely be going back.

What a beautiful gem this Italian restaurant… the lasagna I had was probably the best I ever had (or close) and everybody at the table loved their dish (chicken parm, pollo al limone). Service was delightful and atmosphere great. Maurizio the owner made sure we were having a good time and had the most refreshing personality! Let’s support more of these little family-owned eateries!

We had a DELICIOUS dinner at Maurizios! Ordered the chicken marsala, fusilli pasta and halibut special and all three were prepared perfectly! GRAZIE CHEF! Our server LUCA was attentive and friendly and helped us choose an exceptional wine. Maurizio makes each person feel special and the lively atmosphere feels like you’ve been transported to Italy. GRAZIE Maurizio and staff!!
