We came here from Pittsburgh and this was our first stop on the way to Big Bend National Park. We heard about this food truck from the YouTube channel Mission America and decided to give it a try. We ordered the Chicken and Swiss sandwich and the Chicken Philly—both were delicious!! The gentleman at the counter was super friendly and helpful, and the seating area was quirky and fun. Honestly, if we hadn’t seen it on YouTube, we probably never would have stopped because it looks a little scary and run down from the outside—but we’re so glad we did!

We ordered the jalapeño burger and a regular burger. They both come with fries and ranch, which is always a plus for me! Everything was delicious and freshly made! The have 4-5 tables outside to sit at, a few of them with umbrellas for shade.

The best food in town. You need to stop and eat the food and get you a Boba. You can eat there or take it home, either way you will enjoy the savory and most excellent lunch. It’s 5 star restaurant quality from the most awesome people. Stop. Eat. Enjoy!

Recently started going to Tri La Bite with coworkers who eat there regularly and I’m glad they introduced me. Awesome service, solid portions, great flavor pairings and okra. Love okra. The chorizo blue cheese burger is awesome as is their current bourbon burger special. I have also tried their veggie wrap which is great as well. I haven’t had all the burgers in Alpine but I’m sure their burgers are in the running for best in town. Stop by if you see them open.

Stopped while driving through Texas. Had the Philly chicken hoagie with a side of fries, and a bottle of Coke. Seating is at picnic tables or high tops, cool vibe. Well worth finding this little gem.

Probably the best burger in town. Alpine is known for its food trucks and this is one you definitely want to try out! Their burgers hit the spot every time!

An amazing small food truck in the Alpine area!
We had just arrived in Marfa and we’re looking for a vegetarian option and this place happen to be open. So we drove back to Alpine and were pleasantly surprised with the meal that we received.
My wife had a vegetarian burger and I had a regular beef burger and both were excellent. We also had fries and fried pickles for appetizers that were both exceptional as well.
We received great customer service from the husband and wife team that were running the establishment. We were even followed up buy a visit to our table by one of the owners to ask if everything was great, which it was!
I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a bite while you’re on the road or in the Alpine/Marfa area.

My girlfriend and I visited Tri La Bite because of the great reviews we’d read. It was a bit difficult to time our visit because they’re only open 11:30am to 3pm, but we managed to get there just when they opened.
I ordered a jalapeño popper burger with fried okra and my girlfriend got a grilled chicken wrap with fries. As other reviewers have mentioned, highly recommend getting the fried okra – it’s really good.
They also have outdoor seating, but the weather was really windy, so we ate in our car.
Most memorable part of the experience was being able to sign our names on their food truck.
Really nice and cute place with great food.

I passed the place up while looking for a restaurant to eat lunch. What caught my eye was all the vehicle’s parking in front. I made the block and turned around. I was very hungry, to the point where I could care less how good the food is.
To my surprise, it has to be the best lunch I’ve had on the road in a very long time! The service was excellent and the servings were generous.

I’ll definitely come here again whenever I’m passing through.

Really tasty burgers! Dog friendly; owner brought out a water dish for our pup. Several shaded picnic tables to enjoy your food.
