The restaurant presented a clean and well-maintained atmosphere, with front-door service that was welcoming, though somewhat reserved in personality. Our waiter was excellent—knowledgeable, attentive, and provided thoughtful menu recommendations that enhanced the dining experience.
The food overall was decent. I ordered the New York bone-in steak, which was prepared properly but lacked depth of flavor and could have been more seasoned. My guest enjoyed the salmon and the truffle pasta, both of which were well-executed and particularly flavorful. The chicken parmesan, however, did not meet the standard typically expected from Italian restaurants, earning a modest three out of five.
Pricing was consistent with what one would expect for a restaurant of this caliber. The general manager was especially courteous and accommodating, going out of their way to ensure our needs were met. With some improvement to the steak’s flavor and execution, the dining experience could be elevated further.
Side note: The calamari was to die for

We stopped by for a quick Sunday lunch and sat at the bar. Martin took great care of us — he was very attentive and friendly. The drinks were delicious, especially the espresso martinis (bartender’s kiss!). The food was really good as well.
We will definitely be coming back for more!

First time dining at Trento Italian Steakhouse in East Farmingdale, and it was a great experience. The seating was excellent, our family of four loved the booth area. The best time to dine is around 5pm, otherwise, it fills up quickly and the wait can be a bit longer.
The restaurant is romantic, clean, and spacious. Our server, Rich, was wonderful. We started with the octopus appetizer and the giant meatball! Both were delicious. We also ordered a bottle of wine (why not? The kids were keeping us on our toes).
For our main dishes, I had the wild swordfish, my husband ordered the steak with mashed potatoes, and both our children got the mac and cheese. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Overall, a great dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

Haven’t been on this property since it was the Crazy Donkey. Glad to have finally gotten a chance to visit this location. Some of the appetizers were delicious, notably the crab meat cocktail and baked clams. The bone-in NY strip was sliced and cooked perfectly. The mac-n-cheese side was amazing. Service was fantastic. Will certainly be back. Highly recommended!

Very elegant restaurant, extremely busy when our group visited. Seated quickly, server assisted quickly, beverages and food served in good timing. Great place to eat, socialize and enjoy.

This was our first time dining here. We drove 45 minutes to try it with another couple. When you enter the atmosphere is underwhelming. Kumar was our server and his service was spectacular! He was attentive, knowledgeable and proactive. He made great recommendations. We had two special appetizers (burrata and zucchini flowers) both were just good. We also had baked clams and arancini and those were great. The steaks (ribeye and skirt) were cooked perfectly. The creamed spinach had no flavor and the mashed potatoes were dry and bland. Overall our dinner was good but not sure if it is worth to drive 45 minutes when there are other places closer to us. Kumar is the only reason that I would comeback.

Trenton was a bit of a mixed experience. The burger sadly tasted like it had been boiled, but the pasta was fantastic and the chicken parmesan is a must-order. Definitely save room for dessert, too—it’s worth it. They also have a full bar, which is a nice plus.
Service, however, was odd. The runners just dropped the food onto the table and left without saying anything, and some of the dishes were mixed up. No one seemed to care or try to fix it, which took away from the overall experience.

We ate while there was some kind of office party, which was a little rowdy. Otherwise the atmosphere seems to be nice and quiet. The service was excellent and very attentive. The decor was formal and festive. I had the skirt steak and the fried calamari. My wife had the pasta with the lemon and white wine sauce. I’m forgetting the official name of it. We also had the Kobe meatball. Everything was delicious, and we look forward to going again.

Best food I’ve had in a while. Friend and I split a pasta dish and a steak. Both were incredible. Steaks are quite pricey but was one of the best I’ve had. The bread they brought around was awesome too.

I recently had the pleasure of being served by Yormin(Hope I’m spelling his name right)at the restaurant, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. From the moment I was greeted, Yormin’s warm and friendly demeanor set the tone for an enjoyable evening. He was not only attentive and efficient throughout the meal but also offered insightful recommendations that perfectly complemented the dishes I ordered.
Yormin’s attention to detail was evident—he checked in just the right amount to ensure everything was to my satisfaction without being intrusive. His knowledge of the menu and the ingredients was impressive, making it easy to decide on the perfect pairing for my meal. The personal touch he added by sharing his favorite picks truly elevated the dining experience.
Overall, Yormin’s exceptional service played a major role in making my visit memorable. I left the restaurant feeling well-cared for and genuinely valued as a guest. If you’re looking for a dining experience where service is as impressive as the food, I highly recommend seeking out Yormin for a meal you won’t soon forget.
