Trem Caipira is a true culinary gem hiding in downtown Lowell — a place where Brazilian authenticity shines in every detail. The chef ‍ brings a homemade style of cooking, yet with all the professionalism and standards of a top restaurant. Every dish feels personal, crafted with care, and filled with the comforting flavors that remind you of home.

What makes Trem Caipira stand out is its originalidade. It doesn’t follow trends or compromise authenticity — instead, it proudly celebrates real Brazilian country-style food, rich in flavor and tradition. From the first bite to the last, you taste genuine passion and love for the craft.

A visit to Trem Caipira isn’t just about eating — it’s about experiencing a piece of Brazil in the heart of Lowell. Warm, soulful, and unforgettable. ✨

The food is really good and very tasty. However, there were many items on the menu that were not available. They also don’t serve coffee, and there was only one person serving all the tables, which made the service very very slow.
I still think it’s a good option for lunch, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially with menu availability, wait times, and overall service options for customers.

I completely loved the ambient, food, drink and service. Definitely going back to try other meals. Price was fair to the quality. Clean, nice music, loved everything. Bill for 2 was $65.

I had the most incredible experience at Trem Caipira. The food was absolutely out of this world – truly some of the best dishes I’ve ever had in my life. Every bite was packed with flavor and made with such care that it felt unforgettable.

The service was just as amazing. All the staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole experience even more special. I also have to highlight the Onça Pintada caipirinha – honestly one of the best drinks I’ve ever tried, perfectly balanced and refreshing.

The restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy, with an atmosphere that feels both warm and inviting. On top of all that, the prices are very fair for the quality of food, drinks, and service you get.

Without a doubt, Trem Caipira is a gem, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

I am awed and grateful to the owners of this restaurant for having transformed a hideous corner of Lowell into something beautiful. The food and service were great, and the restaurant is clean and well laid out. Thank you Trem Caipira.

Excluding churrascarias, this was the tastiest Brazilian restaurant I have ever been to! The seasoning was perfect and the quality was the best. The service was also extraordinary, everyone smiling and courteous, and the food came very quick. It’s too bad we do not live in this area, but every time we will come here, we will stop in again. Thank you!

Sixto and I have had Brazilian food before, but nothing like the experience we had at Trem Caipira. From the moment you walk in, you can feel that this restaurant is built on love, tradition, and pride.

The owners honor their roots beautifully — there’s a stunning wall collage filled with photos of loved ones and ancestors, including snapshots of Cristiane’s (the owner) grandmother cooking outdoors. It feels like you’re being welcomed not just into a restaurant, but into their family’s story.

The food? Absolutely incredible. Every dish is a combination of homemade recipes, rich flavors, and thoughtful presentation.

What truly sets Trem Caipira apart is the people behind it. Cristiane came over to our table herself, chatting with us, walking us through the menu, and offering recommendations tailored to what she thought we’d enjoy. That personal touch made the meal feel even more special.

Between the atmosphere, the food, and the love poured into every detail, Trem Capaira is more than just a restaurant — it’s an experience. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend to anyone in Lowell (or beyond) looking for an unforgettable Brazilian dining experience.

I dont usually write bad reviews but when my order contains “sautéed collard greens” and “fried plantain” and I what I get is a little shredded greens on top of my refried beans and you took a regular banana, bread it and fried it and call it plantains is a slap in the face. Never again!
