The food was good, but the guacamole was terrible — it was old, and I think it had been diluted with oil, judging by the consistency and flavor. The service wasn’t the best; the waiter was quite distracted. He forgot to bring one of the drinks, which we only got after reminding him, and it took a long time. We ordered an appetizer that never arrived, yet it was still added to the bill (they later corrected the mistake when we pointed it out). When we finished eating, they cleared the plates and immediately brought us the bill without asking if we wanted dessert or anything else.

There is plenty of parking and easy to find. The place was clean and the employees were nice and fast. The food was good for the price. There is quite a bit to look at and choose on the menu. The salsa was ok, and the chips were ok. I’m not sure if I will return, but try it out for yourself.

Friendly service, salsa was tasty, I liked my chicken fajitas, a friend in my party got the cheese quesadillas , sadly the cheese was not fully melted. Extensive menu with description of meals provided on menu.

Excellent tacos de barbacoa. Chips & salsa were great too. Salsa actually has some heat to it. Service was good & bathrooms were clean. My daughter enjoyed the chicken tenders & fries. Easy walk from the downtown park area but there is good parking at the restaurant itself too.

The food was so fresh and delicious! Best arroz con pollo in town if you ask me. Great lunch specials, and the staff were all so nice.

Maybe I went to a different place?? I can’t imagine all the 5 star reviews! Food is mediocre at best. Bland. Salsa tastes like pizza sauce. Queso was watery. Rice was stale. They use the white melting cheese on EVERYTHING, but sometimes it’s barely melted. The only saving grace was our server. She was super friendly and very sweet. Won’t be back.

The salsa is too hot and so are a lot of the dishes. I tried twice and both orders were too hot. Sanitation rating is B or 84. I probably won’t be back.

First time trying this place and I like it. Ordered the Taquitos Mexicanos, which was good, and it costed $14 and some change, with tax. What really stands out from the other Mexican restaurants is some of their menu items, more specifically the ones containing eggs. This would be the first time I have been to a Mexican restaurant that serves eggs. In my opinion, it is a nice option of cuisine in downtown Southern Pines.

We had such a great experience here as a family! The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating—especially with our toddler. They took the time to speak with her, let her “order” her own meal, and made us feel so welcome as parents. The food came out super fast and was absolutely delicious. The dining room wasn’t too busy when we visited, which made for a calm and enjoyable meal; just something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during a rush or if they’re short-staffed. Overall, a wonderful, family-friendly spot we’ll definitely return to!

A buddy of mine went there a few weeks ago. He’d heard about it from one of his friends and wanted to try it out. Everything was delicious. The chips and salsa you could fill up on bc they’re so good. The food was so flavorful and not greasy. Definitely recommend going if you haven’t been. Thank you for your time and reading my review.
