Just moved to Westside and this place was highly recommended…and they did not disappoint. For lunch I ordered pork sandwich and it was huge, fries hot and crispy. Collards were exceptional! I also sampled most of their other sides…Mac n cheese, lime beans, coleslaw, baked beans, green beans and Brunswick stew…all delicious and seasoned well. I also sampled the beef brisket and turkey…Wow! To top it off the service was friendly and fast. Crystal, Heather and Crystal were awesome . Can’t wait to go back and try more of their bbq.

If you’re craving smoky flavors and melt‑in‑your‑mouth meats, this spot delivers an unforgettable barbecue experience. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of slow‑smoked brisket and ribs fills the air, setting high expectations that the kitchen happily meets. The brisket is tender with a rich bark, balanced perfectly between smoky and savory. Pulled pork comes juicy and well‑seasoned, complemented by just enough tangy sauce. Sides are more than an afterthought—creamy mac and cheese, crisp coleslaw, and baked beans with a hint of sweetness make each plate feel complete. Service is warm and attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere strikes that perfect blend of rustic charm and comfortable seating. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual lunch or hosting a family gathering, this barbecue joint makes sure nobody leaves hungry. For true lovers of barbecue, it’s a must‑visit destination where every bite proves they take pride in doing things the slow‑smoked way.

I was pleasantly surprised with this BBQ spot. I ordered the three meat combo(rib, chicken, brisket) with an individual side of fries and side of sweet sauce. The ribs were good and had a nice smokey flavor. One of them were dry but overall good. Im not a sauce person, but did end up using the sweet sauce. The sauce added a nice sweetness with mild kick. The brisket was a combo of lean and moist(which I love) but lacked bark. The chicken was juicy and a little on the under side and lacked seasoning for my liking. I loved the beans. They were very good. The greens and fries were good too. I would definitely return to try more.

I ordered the dinner rib plate for $17.99, and was disappointed. The ribs were unseasoned, dry and over cooked, lacking flavor and smoke ( why would you not season your meat???). They also cooked the ribs with the membrane on, which peeled off like old wall paper. I nearly returned the food but didn’t want to waste the gas or have the hassle and headache. The baked beans were decent but the French fries were super greasy. The friend that recommended this place is now an enemy. Jacksonville used to have great BBQ (Taylor’s, Singleton’s and Southern’s ) but I believe all the greats are gone. They have a 4.5 rating and I’m not sure why or how with the substandard product I received. This was my first and last time at this joint.

I went for lunch, spent $26 and don’t really have much to say about it. Orka is really good. I got the butt ends of the meat. Is so fatty
I went by recommendations, so I guess I need to Recommend something else for someone.

What a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch — friendly, welcoming, and genuine. The dining area was spotless, with booth-style tables that make it a perfect spot for families to sit and enjoy a meal together. The setting is cozy and filled with the comforting aroma of their smoker — a true Southern BBQ atmosphere done right.

You can tell they prepare everything fresh each day, cooking it all on site and even making their own seasonings. The food absolutely delivered. The greens were an unexpected highlight — honestly some of the best we’ve ever had. The BBQ beans were rich, meaty, and full of incredible texture. The turkey was moist and full of flavor, the brisket was perfectly marbled and tender, and the ribs were flat-out fabulous. Even the potato salad was on point. The only miss was the pulled pork, which was a bit dry, but everything else more than made up for it.

To top it off, the clerk who took our order treated us like we’d been regulars for years — the kind of hospitality that makes you want to come back again and again.

If you’re anywhere near Jacksonville and love great BBQ served with heart, Treemendous BBQ & Catering is a must-visit!

The ribs and chicken were good with a good smoke but the pulled chicken was dry my son didn’t eat his even after he put the sauce on it and the burnt ends were okay. For the sides the Mac and cheese was bland, the Brunswick Stew was okay along with the corn nuggets. The tables were sticky and needed to be wiped down.

Found this hidden gem while driving around, new to area. It is a small place with seating inside. You order at the counter and they bring your food to your table. The ribs are very good, meaty and cooked with a perfect smoke ring. The sausage, pulled pork and chicken are some of our go to’s as well. Tremendous Bar-b-Que has the best baked beans in town, fries are crinkle cut, and the okra is awesome! I would stay clear of the corn nibblettes as it was less than desirable. We highly recommend this eatery and you will not be disappointed!!

I was in the area and have heard good things. I finally stopped in for a late lunch and enjoyed it! I was able to sit and enjoy a plate of their brisket with collard greens and bbq beans. The food was excellent. The service was on point and quick. Will definitely stop by again!

Food was decent. Ordered the two meat dinner that comes with two sides. I got ribs and pork for the meat and bbq beans and mac and cheese for the sides. The portion size of the sides was great, and they both tasted good. The pork was good, slightly dry but not too fatty, which I liked. The ribs were seasoned good, but dry and not very meaty. One rib was mostly bone, but they covered that with the scoop of pork on top. Overall for $18 it wasn’t bad.
