The vibes were so special tonight to meet my good friend for drinks and apps. We sat outside under the twinkling lights and fire pit while the crickets continued to sing through the fall night. I enjoyed my fall apple cider mule and burrata app! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great service, food and atmosphere!

Charming Restaurant with Amazing Food – Worth the Wait!
This cute little tucked-away restaurant offers amazing food and a cozy atmosphere. It seems like springtime would be the best season to visit, as there are more seating options. In the winter, space is very limited, and it does feel quite crammed, but they make up for it with beautiful decorations, warm lighting, and a welcoming ambiance.for this reason we will Visit all seasons.
One unique feature of this restaurant is the owner’s love for wine. Inside, there’s a charming country-style store with a wine cellar showcasing some of his best selections, which guests can enjoy while dining—a really nice touch!
The only downside was the service. The food took a long time to come out, and we’re fairly certain our order was forgotten. After waiting an hour, we asked about our meals, and the waitress looked surprised—as if she had just realized the mistake. However, once we brought it to her attention, our dishes arrived steaming hot within 10 minutes.
Despite the wait, the food was absolutely delicious—full of flavor and served in generous portions. The bread basket was also fantastic!
Overall, while service was a bit slow, the food and atmosphere made up for it. We’ll definitely be returning!

Wow, our first time there. The food was absolutely delicious from appetizers through desserts. We ordered a small pizza for an appetizer, then we split eggplant rollatini with meatballs on the side and then our favorite tartufo for dessert. The presentation of tartufo was the best I’ve ever seen. We will definitely go back, very cozy refined atmosphere, 10 stars.

We chose to have a small wedding at Tree Tavern! We planned for months as we loved the set up of the outside. We came and tried food and drinks, and every person we encountered were extremely nice and helpful. They helped us every step of the way. The options we had for the food was amazing. We got to customize it to how we wanted and then pick a very nice drink package. The pricing was outstanding. They helped with the set up and take down of the wedding and honestly helped us with every little detail. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day or a better venue for our special day. If we could do it over again we wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you to Mike, the wonderful owner. Joyce who helped us plan everything and Vicky who helped us pick out all our drinks. Tree Tavern is a place we will come to again and again. The atmosphere is beautiful and the people are great. They helped make our wedding day magical. This place is definitely deserves more than 5 stars!

The Tree Tavern Restaurant in Wanaque is definitely one of those off the beaten path spots that delivers on its reputation. Their outdoor seating area is great, lots of tables, very good service and I nice ambiance. It’s not to loud without being quite and boring. It’s good for a romantic evening or for a group or family event. They have a great outside bar and some cool decor. Inside the dining room is large and well decorated. The food comes in very large portions, so make sure not to over order. It is well made, tastes fresh and as stated, comes out fast. Their wine menu is very large, with almost any kind of wine you can ever want. It’s extremely affordable with most wine bottles costing $25 and a few at $30/$40. It’s a great option for a bottle of wine and a cheese plate on a spring/summer/fall evening. I highly recommend the Tree Tavern Restaurant.

My great grandfather took my grandma and grandpa to the one in Paterson in the 50s. This is the only known location I found when I travelled through town on my genealogy road trip. Let me tell you, the pizza was phenomenal! I don’t know what kind of crack you put in the sauce but it was delicious! We didn’t eat on site but it was an elegant establishment but the outside doesn’t do justice to the inside. Very posh looking! It was jam packed around dinner time- I can taste why!!!

This was my first visit and I actually found it by using Google/Google Reviews trying to find a new place to enjoy a drink and a meal. Very cool spot tucked into a residential neighborhood. Until you actually pull into the parking lot you are truly wondering if you are in the right location. We arrived early for our reservation and enjoyed a wine and cheese plate at the bar.Very comfortable setting/atmosphere both in the bar and dining area. There is also a nice outdoor setting that would be a great spot to relax in while enjoying wine or a cocktail from the bar. I tried a braised short-rib filled ravioli from the nightly specials menu which wasn’t overly big but was tasty and filling. I’d be curious to try a burger or one of the steak dishes on my next visit. The prices were VERY reasonable and the place became very crowded shortly after we arrived. (A real neighborhood gem I suspect). The staff was friendly and hard-working too, though maybe understaffed by a waitress due to the fact we found ourselves waiting a bit longer than normal on a busy Saturday night for our bar drinks. All in all a quality spot I’d like to try again!

Girls’ night out for birthday wishes!
This is a gem that is tucked away from the hustle & bustle of busy roads & life.
If you haven’t tried the famous tree tavern pizza … Here is your chance to upgrade it with toppings. We choose ours plain as part of our appetizer. Also shared the most delicious stuffed artichoke that I’ve had in quite some time. ( sorry photo taken after we dived in)
Moving on to our main course.
Off the daily menu we choose
Chicken Parmigiana, Meat Ravioli, Chicken Ceasar salad. The special of the week included shrimp, asparagus, arugula, and lots of yummy. We shared a tartufo that included a candle and a round of singing.
