My friend and I just had lunch at Dos Magueys in Ringgold, Georgia. The restaurant is super clean. The atmosphere is great. The staff is very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and very authentic. The sauce is super flavorful, but it’s the best Mexican food I’ve had since I’ve moved from Chicago. I will go back again and again hopefully someday they’ll open one in Chattanooga, but I’m willing to make the drive. the food was that good.

The food is great. Our family visited twice within a week and every dish had amazing flavor. Far exceeds what you usually get at Mexican restaurants. And the portions are huge. We were visiting town upon the passing of a loved one and, becoming aware of this, our server went out of his way to cheer up my young child, making her paper roses and bringing her an extra drink. The staff knew we weren’t local yet treated us like we were their best customers.

I am from California and moved to Ringgold in 2020. I have had several bad experiences and only found 2 Mexican restaurants worth revisiting in that time. None of those were in Ringgold, until this place opened. This reminds me of authentic Mexican food back home. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the south! This is my new favorite place. The food was so good and full of flavor. The salsa for the chips was on point. Not one thing to complain about. The whole experience was the best I have had since moving here. Finally I found a Mexican restaurant in my town. Definitely the only Mexican restaurant I will be visiting from now on. So glad they opened.

With all the good Mexican restaurants in the area, it’s sometimes difficult for the wife and I to even keep them straight, let alone pick a favorite. Until today, our favorite was a place in north Dalton, but it is now Dos Maguey’s. Both my Texas Fajitas and my wife’s chicken chimichanga were excellent, along with the service and overall comfortable atmosphere. Portion sizes were on the large side, prices modest, and service flawless. Our server was pleasant, funny, and pretty-good at making aluminum foil roses.
