Cozy French dining room in a historic Inn. No reservation required, beautiful piano music in background, perfect Eggs Chesapeake w fresh crab, hollandaise, and champagne. Superb french toast! Great comfort foods menu. This is a nice escape beneath the busy, wonderful streets of Annapolis.

I originally gave this place 5 starts about 2 years ago. In July we were in the area and we were very excited for the rest of our family to go with us to enjoy breakfast. I’m not sure what happened at all but it was horrible. We ordered orange juice, it was so bad we couldn’t even drink it. My husband ordered a diet coke, when he drank it he said it didn’t taste right either. He looked at the can and it had actually expired. When our food came out 6 out of the 7 of us got our food. Instead of the waitress bringing out the last plate she went and helped a few tables around us. When his food finally came out it was cold. The presentation was nice for most of our meals, but we were all disappointed. I was raving about how amazing this restaurant was and how lovely the atmosphere was and it was completely opposite. I’m not sure the was new management or ownership, but based on this past trip I woul not recommend coming here. I only gave it 2 stars because of the first time we were there and because it is a lovely place.

I had a good experience here. It had a nice atmosphere & reasonable prices. We went after the lunch rush at 1:30. I got the seafood sampler & really enjoyed it, especially the crab rolls & shrimp. My wife got the crab cake sandwich and enjoyed it as well.

To eat where our Founding Fathers ate after signing the Treaty of Paris is wild. The food was quite good, if not on the “so what else is new” side. The service was outstanding. We could not have asked for more of the wait staff. The place is decorated as a museum and we enjoyed looking at everything, including the “tunnel.” We recommend the brunch. It’s a keeper.

Very cozy and quaint, service great, but the food ugh. 2 breakfasts, 2 days ordered fried eggs over medium, came very over-cooked, when sent back came back virtually raw. Fruit not ripe. Ice tea was old tasting or container not cleaned. Also, would be nice if they had (optional at least) real maple syrup not colored corn fructose in plastic packets. Same with the jam. Little plastic packets? Seriously?

Rating this for its bar, Drummer’s Lot, since when I look for it, it sends me to Treaty of Paris. We’ve been to the bar a couple times for a few drinks before heading to dinner and really love that historic feel. Limited beer selection, if you’re in to the craft beer movement, but the bartender knows how to make the classic cocktails. The bar top is very small and there are a few tables. It got busy both times we were there. A couple of small TVs, so don’t expect to watch a game there. My rating really goes to the atmosphere, ambiance, and history of this bar.

The atmosphere here is amazing! Some ghost tours start here also *wink* I go to Annapolis every year, sometimes with my daughter, sometimes alone, but I always make a stop for a beer and to say hello to Peanut! He’s the best bar tender in Annapolis and has some great stories to share if your a kind patron and it’s a quiet night!

We had heard such great things about this place we thought we would try it out. There was only one waitress for most of the morning for all the tables and she did try her best. However, our food was very cold when it came out and she did not come around that often. At the end after I had asked for the check, she let us know that they could not take credit cards… we had a party of 6 and not that much cash! We managed to scrounge it together but this was very offputting. If you can’t take credit cards, that’s fine just let people know ahead of time so they can make their own decision! So overall, will not be going back and would never recommend going to this place for breakfast.

Cozy, provincial atmosphere for serving some of the best crab bisque I have ever had. Staff is friendly and attentive, anticipating your needs and accommodating your requests with smiles. While we did not reside in the bedrooms, I anticipate a stay very soon.
