VALENTINE’S DAY DINNER. We were sat in the basement dining room which was 51 degrees (we were sitting across from the thermostat). The food was terrible and cold. Both our chicken parm cutlets were burnt and the pasta came with barely enough sauce. The only saving grace was our waitress was super lovely and attentive.

Gem of a place! Friendly staff. Salads were so good. Cesar was excellent with perfect amount of dressing. Caprese salad was a huge hit with my daughter who doesn’t love tomatoes and she ate the tomatoes which were very ripe and sweet. The house chopped salad was like a mini antipasto salad. So good. Chicken Parmigiana was outstanding. Shrimp scampi was delicious with perfect amount of fresh chopped Garlic. Pork chops were unbelievably tender and tasty. Make sure you get the homemade pasta with your meal. It’s is delicious. Bread was soft inside and crusty rustic outside and tasted homemade. We went at 5 pm on a Friday and no one else was there. So we were a little concerned as it was busy at other restaurants on that street but so glad we went here! One of the best meals we have had in the North End and we have tried quite a few. Very generous portions and high quality fresh ingredients. A+ Highly recommend!!!

My girlfriend made a Valentine’s Day reservation through OpenTable three weeks in advance. When I arrived at the restaurant for our confirmed reservation, I was met with confusion & told they did not have it and that they do not use OpenTable. I had the confirmation available and showed that this was indeed how the reservation was made. While speaking with me, the staff stated that this must be an issue on OpenTable’s end and that they only use Resy. However, when my girlfriend called shortly thereafter (she was arriving separately), she was told that “this has been happening all night.” It wasn’t made clear to me in person that this had been occurring throughout the night- it was made more to sound that this was a one off and they had no idea what I was talking about. I understand that table availability would be very limited, especially on Valentine’s Day, but when there is a systemic issue affecting several reservations on a major holiday (esp one where everyone is out to eat and you can’t readily find a table elsewhere), I would expect some level of proactive communication/ accountability/ or some form of customer service recovery. I would call Opetable for support as soon as the issue was identified or try to do something for those customers locally try to make up for the experience- even something as simple as discounted take out. All in all, disappointing.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tre Monte in north end. What a terrific find. The carbonara was fantastic. Perfect pasta and sauce. Same for the Rigatoni dish. Chicken parmesan was equally as good. Calamari and chopped salad were excellent starters. Definitely make time to get dinner here.

The staff are amazing!!!!!! The food is good and it was such a great and elegant dining experience . I had pasta and my friend had pizza, both out of this world, delicious . Waiter always topped off my drinks and gave me red pepper flakes. There’s only five stars but I would give it a ten.

Wonderful! Tre Monte is a staple and classic. Love the Eggplant melanzane, and Chicken Parm. They have a street, and basement level, both are great, street level has more of a bar atmosphere, and down stairs is more romantic style.

This is a great place in the North End! I went for an early dinner on a Friday night and they weren’t busy yet. The staff was really friendly and the prices are good for the North End. I got the fussilli, sausage and rabe and it was so good! I also tried the meat balls and the bolognese, both were delicious! Definitely check this place out!

My boyfriend stopped in to Tre Monte Restaurant and Bar for drinks while waiting for a reservation at a different restaurant. This is a quaint restaurant in the North End neighborhood. We can’t speak to the food but the 2 ladies next to us told us that their food was delicious. Our bartender was great! We would like to come back for food in the near future.

We made a reservation for 8:30, we get there at 8:35 and are told “your table will be ready in 2-3min.” We waited 15min before being escorted to our table. What is the point of making a reservation, if our table isnt ready when we get there.
After we sit, it was about another 15min before our waiter came to take our orders. Normally, at any other restaurant, waiting 20-30min for the food is normal. But we waited over an hour for our pasta dishes. We had to even tell our waiter that we are going to leave if we dont get our food soon. I would understand the wait if these dishes were complex. But my friend order carbonara. It should NOT take 1+ hrs to make that dish. I’m no expert in Italian dishes, but I’m doubtful that the dishes in the picture would take over an hr to make. The food itself was good, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the hr wait. Definitely will not be coming back.

We were only in Boston for a night and were looking everywhere for an Italian place. Everywhere was jam packed and no tables. Finally we see this place which only had a few people inside. The owner and waitress were so nice and the food OMG the food was amazing. We had the bruschetta which was so fresh and chicken parm both were absolutely delicious. Would come here again if ever in the area again.
