From welcoming us into the door to boxing our pizza Ignacio’s service was impeccable. 10/10 would come back just because of him! Wish I had cash so my tip only went to him but I will be back!

Arguably the best restaurant in town, and one of the best Italian restaurants in the US.

The appetizer bread with the lemony pesto and the house-made chili oil on the side was excellent, so I had high expectations even before we had the main dish. And as expected, the pasta and the dessert were all amazing. We had linguini alla vongole and rigatoni al tre funghi. The pasta was well cooked and full of flavor. The tomato cream sauce was well balanced. Tiramisu was soft and plated well. Every dish was quite unique and well executed.

The staff were very kind and professional. Our waiter, Aria, was friendly and attentive, and she made our experience at Tre Lune even more special.

Ample street parking, beautiful interior, and great service. Recommend making a reservation early especially for a dinner on weekends.

[Updates in August 2025] We came here a few more times since our first visit, and the place was still amazing. The shimp on the salad were cooked well and the gnocchi was cooked just right. The lasagna was a little acidic to my taste, but it’s probably because I’m used to eating very meaty lasagna as a kid. The staff were again professional and kind. The pesto was superb.

Ah, Tre Lune. Where the chairs aren’t just for sitting on. They’re a legacy. A tribute to those who’ve dedicated countless hours of their lives—and probably a good chunk of their wallets—to this establishment. One can only wonder, what’s the expiration date on immortality? Does your chair get taken down once a new regular comes along and pays more tribute? Or do they just wait for the inevitable?

Regardless of your potential future as a tiny wall ornament, the food is worth the risk. The carpaccio was so wonderfully tender, you’ll wonder if it even needed to be chewed. The fagioli salad was a mountain of fresh goodness—a good thing, because you’ll need the fuel to take on the other dishes. The fettuccine mare e monti was a test of willpower, a dish so delicious and overwhelmingly generous that I couldn’t finish it. This place is not for the faint of heart, or stomach.

I’d also like to give a shout-out to the service, which was attentive without being cloying, and the parking situation, which was surprisingly manageable for a place that’s clearly a high-demand chair museum. Just be careful with the patio heaters; they’re either set to “balmy” or “surface of the sun,” with no in-between. The dirty martini, however, was just right. You’ll need it after surviving the patio.

I was thoroughly impressed with the restaurant; the food was both exceptional and authentic. The ambience evoked a classic old-Hollywood-Italian atmosphere. Our waiter was young man and amiable, but it appeared that his attention was primarily directed towards larger tables that were consuming alcoholic beverages. As we were a party of two and did not order any alcohol, we encountered some difficulty in garnering his attention during our dining experience. Nonetheless, we found the overall experience at the restaurant to be very enjoyable, and we intend to return in the future. We hope to provide the waiter with another opportunity to enhance his service before we reach a final assessment.

This choice was a first time visit and special Valentine’s family dinner. Made our RSVP 6 weeks in advance and drove 2 hours to get there. 2 hour limit at the tables. We were seated & order taken timely. I chose the Black Forest Fettuccine Special ($45.00). It was an average portion. The serving bowl still had water at the bottom from cooking. Noodles had a splash of truffle oil and fresh grated truffle. The truffle flavor was a bit overwhelming. Since this dish comes with no sauce, just the truffle, the noodles were sticking and no additional spoon is provided to spin them into a polite bite. I surrendered and did not eat the Fettuccine. Our server never came back & the busboy was clearing food from the table before we were done! The other dishes were basic pasta & 1 seafood dish. Compared to other Italian restaurants Tre Lune was not worth the drive or the price. It’s a little overated. (Fettuccine $45+tax+tip=$60.00 very disappointing) Dessert…$15.00 for a scoop of Gelato? Trust the Fettuccine reviews…I didn’t and regret not listening.

We had a party of 4 on a Tuesday night. Across the room, at a table near the door sat Kevin Costner with three young adults. Very cool. Tre Lune has a 5 star restaurant but the tables are small and close together.

Don’t you dare, Blondie. Miss-Manager (yes-that’s a pun) of this restaurant can turn around and walk into the pacific as far as I’m concerned. Her obsequious pandering and extra servicing to a couple of obviously regular and apparently very wealthy patrons starkly contrasted against our one waiter who, although very attentive, was stretched between too many tables. We watched every table be served to the ‘nth degree and at 6:38 pm, Miss-manager comes to us and doesn’t ask how we are doing. Nope! She asked, do you plan to order more food soon?

We arrived at 5:35 pm for our 5:30 pm reservation. I had already gleaned from our server that they wanted us to move quickly as our table was promised to another party at 7:30 pm. No problem. We had already eaten at the Rosewood lite bites and had a couple cocktails. We were not terribly hungry, but we had ordered a bottle of red, several cocktails and weren’t exactly chincing it at Tre Lune.

I guess that’s not good enough. Guaranteed my Rolex and Gucci – head to toe – cost as much as anyone else’s attire and my Amex is as good as anyone else’s.

Go take a hike, Mismanagement.

Your pizza and pasta suck. Your attitude, even worse. Your hair, the worst.

Buh-bye

Definitely eat here if you like good food and good wine. The staff is absolutely delightful- kind to me and each other; like everyone was one moving piece. Food was delicious (so many vegetarian options!) and the entire meal was so thoughtful. Leslie the manager makes you feel right at home, and the team on the floor really knows what they are doing and what they are serving. You know it’s going to be good when the bread is

As someone who was just visiting and passing through, this whole food experience was a highlight for my trip. Thank you!

This is officially my and my Partner’s favorite restaurant in the Santa Barbara / Montecito area, and we don’t even live locally as we drive all the way from LA county!

Had our lunch here with my 6 other great friends because I wanted to share with them this great gem, all coming from LA and had a blast! At first, I was having difficulty with booking because two of my couple friends brought their fur babies with them. Shout out to Sophia for handling the situation and placed us in the patio area and everyone was happy including the fur babies! She’s the best! Our servers Fidencio ( officially our favorite!) and Fernando are always very on point and very knowledgeable about everything in the menu and we loved their recommendations!

Food was as always great and everyone was happy with their meals!

Parking is street parking and we had no problem with it.

Elegant Italian restaurant, beautifully decorated throughout and welcoming staff. Our server was attentive, friendly and courteous. I ordered the Cannelloni al Forno, which was suberb with just the right mix of chicken, cheese and sauce. The Tiramisu was rich, creamy and intense coffee flavor, I highly recommend.
Overall, Tre Lune delivers what I imagine is a true taste of Italy, with exceptional food and a welcoming atmosphere.
