The food was delicious, and they had great falafel. The guy taking our order gave us twice as many sandwiches as we wanted, so we ended up spending double, but the food was good, and we ended up eating everything, so…

Straight up delicious this place has been good for years and continues to be great. Little bit hidden if you don’t look beyond church street. You won’t be disappointed

I’ve been coming to Ahli Baba’s since I was a kid and it was always decent. My kids and I went in last week for falafel. The staff was cursing in front of my kids, forgot to make our order even though we were literally sitting and waiting in the store. There was a dog that was tied up inside the restaurant which is obviously a health code violation and the falafel was the worst I’ve ever eaten in my life. Flavorless mush. Ahli Baba’s has been a Burlington fixture for decades. It’s sad that it’s been reduced to something so pitiful.

Stopped in here right before they closed, guy working was super friendly, and the gyro was very good. Left my wallet there by accident and he held onto it for me. Thanks again, I’ll come back next time I’m in Burlington and leave a bigger tip and have joke ready!

live laugh love ahi baba’s. Saturday night, 2am. I stumble in, and the sound of the owner yelling “ORDER 52, ORDER 52” is like music to my ears. No one responds. He comes around the counter, finding his victim and shoving a gyro so far up his a$$ our jaws hang. They’re out of fries. I’m praying he didn’t dunk his balls in the sauce. A shirtless guy is swaying, launching himself at every girl in the place. 5 stars, this place truly is a burlington classic.

Your food cart that comes to campus, nearly without fail, rain or shine made my semester. There is no semester without you. Thanks for being the best business in Burlington. I wish you the best.

Some dude working here kept hitting on my sister when she was clearly drunk. He proceeded to ask her for pot, then her Snapchat (which she gave him her fiancés snap), and then where she was staying. My sister wanted a chicken kabob, and said it was the worst kabob of her life, claiming it made her sick (I’d argue it was drinking though…). Nonetheless, just because it’s 11:00pm at night, you go to UVM, and work a minimum wage job does not mean you hitting on my drunk sister is worth it. I ended up giving him a fake address and went about our way. I’ve never been back since (this was a year ago now).

My friend was expecting a kebab to be a skewer with meat on it but it was a lot more like a gyro. They were so delicious
