I haven’t been here in a while, but I felt like eating some Spanish food so I got a lunch order a beef stew, white rice and beans. The tray was much smaller than I remember it and they charged me $16. I couldn’t believe it. And only a few pieces of meat and had to pay in cash. Can you believe this dish was $16? Food is just ok

Numerous times I’ve called and asked for a plate and they said we don’t have it and then I go in the same day and they have tons of it. No problem I’ll make my own food then.

I have lived in the community for many years and frequent many restaurants on the ave. I have to say that every time I go to this place for take out the women at the counter are SO RUDE!!! I cannot believe that the owner continues to allow these women to wait on customers!! Shameful! I will NEVER frequent this place again!! Don’t be fooled! It’s not a language barrier because they all speak English and I speak Spanish. Hey ladies!! Work on your attitude!! Food is good but the customer service ice will keep me away!!

This place is sooooo disappointing my Mom order pollo alajio and it was sooooo disgusting very bland no flavor was bright white looks like they just boiled it and threw garlic on it the ladies at the counter were evenly rude as hell no manners or customer service at all! I was so upset today. I called in an order my husband and I were very much looking forward to. I went to pick up my order and they told me I called back and canceled it. If I wanted to order again it would take 30 minutes. I never canceled my order!!!! Why would I drive there to pick up my order if I cancelled it. I have given this place a couple try’s. Last time the pernil was delicious. The time before was dry and couldn’t even chew it. Wanted to try again and support local. Never again. I was so upset that she insisted I canceled and yet I did not and I drove there It does not make sense that I would call in an order and cancel it and drive to pick it up. They lost my business

Really great Spanish takeout restaurant around the neighborhood. I couldn’t believe the pernil (pork) tasted so good! It tasted like home cooked pernil i normally only get to eat during a holiday. The portions were large and the quality was great.

I just ordered the Chicharron de Pollo Combo paid $4.00 extra for boneless, spent $36.00 dollars for this meal. First, it comes with rice and beans, I got hard rice and bean water, literally 6 grains in the container the rest was water. No garlic sauce for the chicken, which I was charged extra for. The chicken was dry and bland, simply gross, no flavor whatsoever. Their salad, which used to be my favorite, looked like it was made out of leftover lettuce and cabbage, the dressing was nothing but vinegar and it had an orange color to it This used to be one of my family’s favorite Dominican spots but it feels like they’re taking advantage of the situation we’re going through and are simply not putting any effort into their cooking or service. Although when I called to make them aware, 15 minutes later they delivered the beans and sauces. I’m not happy about the whole situation. I ordered through Grubhub and this is the second time I’ve used them and received horrible results.

I was in there which much regret, I WILL never buy not even a grain of rice from there. Order a plate of rice and beans with steak. The beans smell as if it went bad and the steak was rubbery and dry. I wish i had noticed prior before going home because i would never have walked out with this order from this place. The lady with no hair net kept sneezing right next to the food that sits there, with no covers on them. She sneezes again but this time to the opposite side using her purple gloved hands to rub her nose. So what was the point of wearing those gloves when you sneeze and scatch your nose and take cash and still touch the food. Also the prices are to high which makes it worst because you paying for lousy cook food. Thats what i get for not listening to my gut feeling… Never again!!!!
