Very good atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was served fresh, hot and very good quantity. Mr Saqib, the owner, frequently goes to the table and asks for feedback back. Highly recommend. Will definitely go back in the future.

Absolutely loved Kohinoor Halal Restaurant! The food was rich, flavorful, and truly authentic Pakistani cuisine — especially the biryani and kebabs. The ambiance is beautiful, and the service was top-notch. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and amazing food — highly recommend!

The Pakistani restaurant delivered an outstanding experience! I ordered the chicken kebab platter, and it was simply delicious, juicy, perfectly spiced, and grilled to perfection. The flavors were authentic, the portion generous, and the sides complemented the dish beautifully. Highly recommend for anyone craving flavorful Pakistani cuisine!

UPDATE July 2025 (A couple of months after my last visit/review):
Came in for another try at lunch time. This time there were ladies working and making the food and the experience was much different, better. The service was similar, it was decent, but the food tasted so much better this time!

The naan was made better… The chicken Karahi was very nice and spiced just about perfectly. The chutney was really good, as I recall it was the last time. Their salad was very fresh and a nice addition to the curry.

Overall, I enjoyed this visit so much more and the spice and flavors are what set Pakistani food apart (and make it sooo much better than) Indian food! I know that might not be a popular comment, but it’s true and those who know the difference will be happy to hear this and give this place a try!

(Though I will say – they should probably play some music in the dining room, not kid’s TV and having their kids in the lobby arguing and fighting with each other while watching cartoons… it’s a business afterall)

I love Pakistani food and know a lot about it, so when this place opened and took over the previous ‘kabob’ joint I came to try it. The guy who seems to own it was friendly and their menu has some of the basic kabobs and curries. I tried their chapli kabob with chick peas and naan.

Their naan wasn’t very good, it was way too dense. The flavor of the chapli kabob was great, it was tender and had nice spices to it as well. The chick peas were also solid, definitely enjoyed those as well. Their chutney (green yogurt style) was really good as well.

Overall, the food didn’t have a lot of heat, so it would appeal to many. The venue was just ‘ok’ but nothing special. The entire time I was there, no one else came in… so I hope they do what they need to survive.

Very disappointing experience. $15 for biryani is far too expensive for what was served. The rice was dry and came with only a few small pieces of chicken, mostly bone. The chicken itself tasted old and not fresh at all.
The samosas were a disaster—the filling tasted sour, like food that had been left out of the fridge in a hot room for too long. I had to go back to the restaurant to return them, which was a complete waste of time.
Service was also poor. The staff couldn’t clearly explain what dishes were available and what they didn’t have, which made ordering frustrating.
Overall, this was a waste of time and money. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Bad food, bad service, and not worth it. First and last time I’ll be coming here.

One of the best desi halal restaurants in the area. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced with spices. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic desi halal food.

Absolutely Delicious Pakistani Food!
This place is a total gem! The food was bursting with authentic Pakistani flavors and tasted just like home-cooked comfort food. Everything we tried was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly. You can really tell a lot of care goes into the recipes.
The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming—great for a casual meal with family or friends. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home.
If you’re craving real Pakistani food with bold spices, generous portions, and amazing taste, this spot is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I went for takeout, I ordered butter chicken and what I got was greasy chicken breast it was just spicy oil, second I asked for a side of white rice and they gave chicken Bryani rice , also they microwave their food, the whole time I waiting microvames were going off, the lady in blue was off putting , the only good thing that came out fresh was the naan , flavors are okay but wouldn’t recommend , service isn’t good either, additionally I barley eat any of the food and it took almost 3 days for the taste of garlic and foul smell to get out of my mouth and the smell of it too. I brushed my teeth like like four times a day.

So go to this so called 5 star restaurant, experience was not good at all. Food was oily and grease laden. Not much of an atmosphere in there. No music playing, loud kitchen. The food wasnt great, mango lassi was white and no flavor, samosa oily, ordered butter chicken, got mince pieces of chicken, lamb kabobs where chunky and burnt, rice no flavor, Naan was hard, not fresh and worst we dined in and where given styrofoam plates and plastic silverware. There was 4 adults and 2 kids working in there. Someone could do dishes, shhhhs. Worst experience ever. If this gets deleted I will add again because it was that awful.
