Trattoria Villagio took over the space previously occupied by Greenleaf. I really enjoyed the flavors of everything we had. Calamai and Deviled shrimp were highlights.

This is a traditional Italian restaurant that has moved into the space that Greenleaf occupied. We had the mussels and calamari as appetizers, both were very good. I had the Chicken Marsala as my main course, it was well prepared.

Went Saturday night, was expecting a wait so no worries on that. What I wasn’t expecting was one host, a bartender who was helping to host or maybe she was a manager and no busser. The host was running around doing lots of tasks and for a busy night that makes no sense and doesn’t help with the flow of a restaurant. They need at least two hosts and one busser on. I understand they just opened but for any restaurant that system makes sense. The server was good, nice and helpful. The food was mediocre at best, no flavor. It was decently priced but honestly wont be back for lack of flavor of food

Our first visit and it was delicious! Lovely atmosphere, great options on entree and dinner and drink menu! Best tiramisu we’ve had. In and out in 1.5 hours. Highly recommend and will be back!

The Good: the front of house staff were very friendly and clearly doing their best to work out the “new restaurant kinks” (estimating wait times). No issues at all with the service and if anything, some of the patrons could have a bit more patience while the wait staff works through it all.
The Bad: Unfortunately for as hard as the front of the house was trying…..the food is just not very good. Prices are decent, but across 8+ dishes ordered the food just did not taste good, nothing tasted very fresh (especially the seafood), and just seemed like cheap ingredients were used. No one at the table felt the urge to come back.
It’s very basic Italian at best not really fitting the more upscale vibe the place has. All of which was very surprising knowing there is a large Italian chain 3min down the street that is unfortunately better food wise.
