Started off with the Arancini, which is risotto, beef, and veal type dumplings and stuffed mushrooms. For dinner we had short rib ravioli, and chicken cacciatore, along with some white wine and Prosecco.. all in all the food was good. The service was pretty good. There was a large wedding party that put a bit of a delay on the food but over all was a good experience. I would definitely go back there and have dinner again.

Came here for a work dinner after work. Staff was professional and the restaurant was in great condition. Food was decent. We were seated next to a large group so the service went a bit downhill in the end. There were some mix up with the individual billing but we got it sorted out in the end.
We went to the pizza place next door (same owner) and it was great as well.
We ordered the appetizer sampler and it just ended up a wet mess. The pasta and dessert was decent.

Trattoria Romana is the perfect spot if you’re craving great service and amazing homemade pasta! The staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcome from the get-go. And the pasta? So good. Each dish, whether it’s a creamy carbonara or rich bolognese, is packed with flavor and clearly made with care. If you’re in the mood for some delicious Italian food with a cozy vibe, this place totally delivers! I believe there is a pizzeria connected if you are in the mood for pizza. Across the street from the Courtyard Marriott and is great for visiting hockey families, although the main restaurant is in the quieter side.

Bad experience all around. Couldn’t even hear the waitress speak with all the noise. I requested gluten free pasta because of an allergy. They served me regular pasta! I only knew because it wasn’t ziti. I HAD to TELL them! I’ve been to this restaurant many times and the food is usually spot on but tonight was awful. Won’t go back for a long time. After whitewater rafting and 4 hour drive in the rain. We found this nice itlian restaurant. Love the atmosphere, didn’t order a lot of food cause the long tired day. Our server, Susan, is great. They also have a display counter there. You can order food and dessert to go. We definitely will go back.

Started with warm fresh bread with oil. Then had the calamari, which was done properly, not overly fried. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and it was delicious, my friend had the shrimp dish and loved it as well. The cheesecake dessert was just the right consistency, and I felt the value for dollar was really high. Solid service, everything came out very quickly. It was great weather so we ate outside.

Ordered takeout, added shrimp to my entree. Nobody told me that it was $5 per shrimp to add to order. Pasta came to $42 for four shrimp added to a simple tortellini with the added shrimp. Other shrimp options were between $28-$38. Why are they charging so much? Would have been nice to know before ordering. Food is good but not $42 good. Shrimp was over cooked and leathery while there were 10 (I counted) tortellini in total. Not a $42 dish. And, and the pasta with meatballs barely had any sauce on it. Seems like this place is no longer very good (and very expensive). Won’t be eating here again.
Also I called ahead (4:45 on a Sunday) and gave them a time that I would pick up the food (5:45) and it was not ready when I got there, ended up waiting 15+ minutes after my given time to pick up food.

This was my 2nd trip to Trattoria. My review is on this most recent trip taken on a chilly Saturday night in January. Had a large party of 8 with 2 very young children (my grandkids ❤️). Food was exceptional, Tried 2 apps, traditional fried calamari which was good. And a large plate of fried smelts which was excellent. Entrees then came and they were all excellent. From steaks to veal to my wife who had a rack of lamb special which she said was superb. All were cooked to order perfectly. They had a nice dessert menu that unfortunately could not try. The youngins were just overtired and it was time to go. At last I want to give a shout-out to our wonderful waitress Krissy. She always seemed to be there whenever any request was made by our party. And her patience & personality was just so genuine. Besides the food she was the MVP of the evening. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy atmosphere and great Italian food to give Trattoria Romana a visit you won’t be disappointed. And ask for Krissy if she may be working that night.

Just like the sister restaurant in the south. The food, service, and atmosphere are wonderful. We had the best pork chops and meatball with raviolis in some time. Extensive wine and drink menu for a wonderful sit down experience. Don’t hesitate to make this place a regular spot.
