Solid experience. We werent blown away but I honestly have no complaints. We tried two pastas and some deserts and enyojed both. It wasnt super crowded but we reserved our table just in case. Our waiter was polite and quick. Had two cocktails so I wont comment on the wine but seems they have decent selection (serbian and italian wines)

The food here was absolutely disgusting and tasted like it came out of a can. While the restaurant looks nice and the service was polite and professional, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. This was also significantly more expensive than most other restaurants in Belgrade. On my 2-week trip this was EASILY the worst food I had.

1000 rsd for a glass of wine is not ok for a trattoria. Food prices are better. Pizzas up to 1500, plates start from 1500 to 4000. Which is pretty expensive for Belgrade.
I had ravioli Peppe, which was pretty good. But the sauce buried the flavours and made the dish heavy.
Attentive waiter, good for Serbian standards.
I spilt my glass of wine, for this prices it is expected for it to be renewed. Unfortunately it wasnt the case.

Best italian restaurant in Belgrade. Food is perfect and the service is great. Staff is very polite. The interior design is beautiful. Definitely recommend. Reservation is a must.

I went to Trattoria Pepe tonight after having walked for 18Km.
I would pass by it, on the way to the bed and breakfast I am staying on the same street, and would always see it completely full, which arose my curiosity.
Tonight, it was not so crowded, due to a students’ protest, which blocked some streets and stopped public transportation. Because of that, I had the whole place to myself for some minutes. Later on, other clients arrived.
What I ordered was absolutely delicious – Isidora did a great job. And so did Dušan by welcoming me and helping me choose.
I wish them the best of luck.

The pasta was delicious and the wine was high quality, but while waiting for our meal they could have offered olive oil and a small appetizer. I deducted points for the lack of something to snack on before the food arrived

The experience is at best ok. The food is really nothing special and bland. And for the price it should be great. We had pasta and lasagna as main dishes which for an Italian restaurant should be a staple of quality and good taste but it’s not. Overall a disappointing experience, I really hadn’t have a bad dinner in years in Belgrade.

We ordered one tagliatele ala cardinale (beef steak) and one ravioli ai porcini con crema di castagne. Very good both of them. Balanced taste, i ordered the beef medium rare and that s how it came; it is normal indeed, but in many places it does not happen like this.
