One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Seriously. It’s down to earth. No, it’s not cheap, but it’s not outrageous either. It’s great dining. I’ve been here with friends, for a romantic meal for two, and by myself. I’ve always been treated well with super service by the same cameriere. He’s exceptional. Yeah, make a reservation like everywhere in Italy now. It helps them plan for the night. The waiter always gives good advice, welcomes you with prosecco, gives you a free amaro or two at the end of a meal.., I love the food, but the service makes it a real treat so that I’ll return to over and over again. Perfect location for excellent seafood. Interesting twists and all the regular options too. They’ll likely adapt to your dietary needs if you just ask respectfully. I overheard several ask for changes to the dishes and the chef made them without any issue whatsoever. 10/10

Delicious meal! The tuna bresaola was exactly that: lightly air-dried tuna, not just crude, delicious and original. The rabbit agnolotti are out of this world! Warm and friendly service and nice local digestif too!

We had dinner here and had an absolutely lovely experience. It started with impeccable service and we got served fresh focaccia for the table. It wasn’t busy at all as we visited on a rainy thurday evening in winter. The vibe of the restaurant was very cozy and the food was the best we’ve had in Italy! We ordered the fritto misto, the spaghetti alle arselle and for dessert the frolla meringata al limone and a delicious chocolate dessert with molten inside! We recommend all of these dishes and this restaurant is a must visit if you want a nice sophisticated dinner in Nervi!

You must visit this little authentic restaurant in a small alley close to the harbour. The best meal we have had in Liguria and worth the money. Large and tasty dishes made from good locally produced ingredients and fresh caught fish/shellfish. The restaurant was full of locals when we visited it last night- we were the only tourists.
Can highly recommend the Chardonnay from Alto Aldige to accompany the meal.

Da Olindo should not be featured here. I thought twice about listing this place, as it would mean I might have to fight crowds to get a seat in future. Prices are very good value for money. Chef is an expert at squid. Cooked to perfection, not rubber. Very tasty. The clam and mussel soup is not a soup! Merely a mussel dish with some sauce.
A hidden gem in Genova!

This place is truly a gem. The atmosphere is intimate, the staff are amazing, and the food is incredible! All around awesome experience that won’t disappoint!
Make sure you don’t fill up on the addicting focaccia because you’ll want the trofie pesto.

Without a doubt the best restaurant in the nervi area, quite upscale but worth the price. Staff is very polite, the location is very pretty, as it really feels like you are in a romantic movie. The food is superb. Would highly recommend the squid as its the specialty of the chef. The menu really brings forward the specialities of the region. All on al, this restaurant is really worth it if you have the budget.

We are staying in Nervi, a beautiful place just south of Genova. We were told that we must try Trattoria Da Olindo and we’re so glad we did! Amazing fresh seafood on the waterfront. We enjoyed everything Umberto cooked for us.
