We had a wonderful dining experience! The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A special thank you to David, who truly made our last day at Moon Palace memorable. We stayed for a week and met many staff members, but David stood out with his warm service and attention to detail. He’s definitely one of the best we’ve encountered. Thank you for the great meal and even better hospitality!

Talk about beyond elegant. What an awesome experience we had at this restaurant. Trully world classes dinning experience. The line at the front door to get in was at least 200 people long. The food was extraordinary exquisite, and the service was at another level. Not only were we greater by the staff, but we had the honor to be greater by the restaurant manager Ana, what a kind person. During our evening, which was a culinary event, we also had the privilege of meeting manager’s supervisor Danielle! We truly felt honored. All I can say is this restaurant is a must do!! What grace and elegance, kudos to Moon Palace!!

This restaurant provides an amazing upscale ambiance, located majestically over looking a world renown golf course and luxury villas, however the food itself is decent. They offer a wide array of options in traditional Italian menu style, however we found the food lacked flavour and complexity . I give this restaurant 5 stars for presentation, decor, location, and service, however overall if you factor in food taste they are only 3 stars. Great if you want to immerse yourself in upscale experience.

We made reservations at Trattoria for dinner, and the only one left was at 8:15. My first suggestion is go ahead and call over there to see if there’s any earlier because when we got there, there were several tables empty so people do tend to cancel and we would not have had to wait that long.
The meal was lovely. I wanted something with a little more pasta, but we were able to get several courses and it was really fun trying all the different things from gnocchi to chicken marsala and the fish, the lovely salads. The tomatoe soup was amazing and the mushroom soup was so unique. The beef appetizer was so tender. I would not recommend the eggplant appetizer- tasted like it was sitting in the back in a bin
The desserts were really good. It was fun to have the tiramisu made table side arm leaders were very attentive, and we had a nice private table. They also have music playing from a cello player which is nice throughout the evening

Food is ok Lobster risotto had nice juicy lobster but bad rice and everything was average but tomato soup was good. The dessert was on top too but so much to give this a 4 or 5 stars

Be prepared to wait, service is quite slow… we came at 6pm and still eating at 8:30 🙁
black bread sticks and tomato cream soup are good, try everything! Portion’s not that big, order different dishes to try, great for sharing if you have a big group. Drinks are meh. Wine is standard. Truffle risotto is good! Catch of the day was branzino/sea bass fillet and that was good too!

Regarding me and my family experience at La Trattoria Italian restaurant.
The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Our server David was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. We had a couple of special requests when it come to each individual meal and David was right on the spot with us .
The flavors were delicious, but the portion sizes were a bit smaller than usual comparing to other Italian restaurants. Dessert was delicious as well , Thank you for wonderful service and food!!

Service was terrible! Me and my party waited over an hour for our food and we noticed the wait was long so we asked how long and waiter came back 5min later with our food. However it was cold! The manager came out and took the food and apologize but came back with the same plates like he warmed it up in the microwave. We could not understand how this restaurant was highly recommended with such poor service and quality of food. I do not recommend this restaurant at all!
