Delicious food, served quickly, it is fresh and flavorful and the setting just above the Ouachita River is cool. It has a bit of a dive-bar/restaurant feel if im being honest. Menus are a bit tattered. Not pictured are the red beans and rice, which are my favorite, absolutely a must if you stop by. Portions are generous and the servers are always attentive and efficient too. Pictured are the half and half, (half fried crawfish tails, half etouffee) and seafood platter, both are really good.

Me and my wife and Father in-Law are traveling from Florida to Arizona and they were wanting some Cajun Food I found this place online. The Rating is 4.5 Stars. Well Say it’s more like a 5 Star. Very Good food with U Haul Parking across the Street. Excellent Food and Service. Mmmmm Yummy I had the Catfish Platter my Father in-law had the Gumbo Platter. My wife ordered the Blackened Pork Chops Platter that’s not in the Picture but we both had a Cup of the Gumbo. OMG So Delicious.

Stopped in for a snack. Tried the chicken and sausage gumbo and I added shrimp. I prefer a darker thicker roux, but the gumbo had good flavor. Came with a small piece of garlic bread and crackers.

The fried Catfish platter has 6-8 pieces with 2 sides. I had the yams and homemade chips as my sides. Good stuff! My brother and sis in law had the 2 burgers deal with a side each… Fries and asparagus, it looked amazing and they really liked it. The river view was cool especially at golden hour. The whole atmosphere was great. Our waitress was so kind, props to her because she held my platter as I was taking tourist photos.

Nothing Special…..The fried fish and fried shrimp was regular…no seasoning. The shrimp on the nachos taste like the pre-cooked shrimp from Walmart.
The corn was so sweet that it tasted like a dessert. The portion sizes were toddler sized for the the price you pay. The service was okay…no smiles on anyone’s faces. The outside eating area was okay, the weather was nice. Again, Nothing Special!

Casual riverfront restaurant with outdoor and indoor dining. Local vibe but welcoming. Huge portions. Seafood nachos were excellent and fried catfish was perfectly cooked, crispy and delicious! Good beer selection. Our service from Casen was top shelf!

Stopped in while on a Thompson Towing & Recovery rescue trip between Mississippi and Texas.
We were not disappointed.
Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
Good beer selection. Lots of options on the menu. Usual fare and lots of seafood selections.
Blacken tuna is good. Gumbo is good. Seafood nachos were really good. Service was good but not crazy fast.

On road trip & saw reviews for Trapps so stopped. Was a bit apprehensive about outside. Walking in wasn’t much better. Just didn’t seem clean. We sat outside & the view was a muddy river and weeds. Abby was our server & she was good. Hubby got the shrimp, crab & corn bisque. Mostly tasted like corn chowder. I had the gumno & it was ok. The boudin was ok. I think southern cajun food beats this food. Definitely had better.
