Transilvania Bar & Bistro on Tropicana—such a cool spot with real Romanian food! Loved the “salata de vinete” super smoky, creamy! The “mici” sausages were juicy, perfectly grilled, and packed with flavor! Mark’s still obsessed with the meatball soup—warm, hearty broth with tender meatballs. Total comfort food! ❤️

All I can say is Wow. An absolute hidden gem. We are visiting from Toronto and this has been the best meal in Vegas during our 4 day visit. The restaurant has been recently purchased by a Romanian family. Our host Bobby and his family offer the kind of service you can only find at a fine dining establishment. The restaurant is very well decorated and the seating is extremely comfortable. You are made to feel like family and not just sitting at a restaurant. Then there is the food. Made from scratch and with love from the fresh bread to the chocolate cake. We ordered the cabbage rolls and they were the best I ever had. Being Russian that says a lot. The prices are more than reasonable and you will pay a fraction of what you pay on the strip for a really great meal. We will definitely come back. Although we may come back on a weekend to enjoy the live music. Thank you for making our trip even that much more memorable and the great hospitality.

Location seem to be the only problem as it is located in the middle of the city, in a small strip mall, relatively far from Las Vegas strip.
But nevertheless, highly recommended if you want really good meal for a decent price, in the pleasant atmosphere away from all the madness of the Vegas strip

Great surprise. Coming into town we wanted some new, authentic food and found this place. Although in a strip mall, great place. Live music (guitar singer this nite), dancing, and authentic romainian food. Great service as well. Would easily recommend for a nice nite out.

Went there for some authentic Croatian food; however the restaurant has been sold and now is Romanian restaurant. Ordered New York steak, fries, and sauted veggies and salmon with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The food was great and so was the hostess/server Ludmila. Ludmila was friendly, helpful, and professional. The restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and its esthetics very pleasing in black and red colors to reflect Transylvanian theme.
