This restaurant has been around for a while. It was Ly’s Garden many many years back when my cousin had her wedding, but every restaurant in this space has kept the banquet style for weddings and event booking because it has a stage and a dance floor.
It was my first time attending a wedding at this venue under Tram Chim. The first and original location is in OC.
It was a wedding of 22 tables so they were able to rent out part of the space, leaving the other side for the public to dine.
The food was actually not bad. The bride’s mom upgraded to get the best of the best. The quality was good but the portions were small not compared to other venues serving 10 people because everyone literally had one scoop of fried rice compared to other venues where we each get a bowl. Each dish only took a spoonful to serve per person.
The tables also didn’t have a lazy Susan. Was inconvenient to grab food. One of our wine glasses was fully cracked and that was somehow missed when they were setting the tables.
Plenty of staff standing around when you need them. Our ice bucket was replenished often, there’s a cash bar for simple drinks like straight up liquor.
The venue is already lightly decorated so you didn’t have to do much other than add your touch of flowers. The black lighted drapes looked like stars in the photo.
Overall, this was a great venue to consider if you’re having a wedding/event. Especially when it’s a large parking lot for guests. They have two entrances to separate for the public and for event guests.

Honesty is the best policy…
Such a basic concept, but this ended my evening with disappointment.
The food was 6 out of 10 at best, but the service was actually great.
Here’s the low down…
So I received my bill for $16.83 I gave them a $20 and i get back $3.
I know it’s just .17 cents but the cashier didn’t even mention he shorted me.
I ask the waitress and she says they are out of change.
Shame on them for not communicating this and just thought I wouldn’t notice.
I read the other reviews and see this is protocol for them to rip people off.

The Unbreakable
Food seemed and tasted as if it was pre-made, like they microwaved it and just threw seasoning on top of it. Came with family, we are all Asian too but did not speak their language so we had to communicate through English. We had to repeat multiple times that we wanted rice but they did not even understand what rice was in English. Paid a lot for terrible service and on top of that they are not that intelligent. They seem like they use all the ridiculous money they charge for their mediocre food on their decorations.

We ordered the live king crab package for 6. We were serve old frozen crab. The meat was so hard and not fresh like you normal get with the fresh white crab meat. It was dry and hard as in old crab meat that been frozen for a long time. They somehow thought we wouldn’t noticed. Sadly everyone in our party did. I was so disappointed as it wasn’t cheap. It was almost a $400 package. I made the aware and they of course agreed. It was clear they can see how bad It was. They took it back and finally came out with a fresher versión. The difference was clear how the mear the second time was more meaty and white. I was very disappointed that this place try to pull that off with us. We didn’t expect from recent live stock but st least not give us weeks old crab. Will not order the king crab here again.

0 = Bathroom……. water stains all over the floor, foods crumbs all around the toilets and it smell like portable potty stand. I probably go again just to hope they can prove me wrong on my 1st experience
