Great little restaurant in the harbor area. It looks like it’s largely just locals, so you know it’s gonna be good. Personally I had the chicken fried steak breakfast. Steak was cooked properly (not overly done), breading was done well without being soggy, gravy was out in just before serving as the crust didn’t get moist until I was done with my meal. Service was fantastic, and coffee was hot and fresh while also not being from a mega coffee company. All in all high quality food at good prices. Will go here again when we are in the area.
Btw – get a loaf of bread to go! It’s fantastic.

Pictures of the food looks average so I thought this restaurant would be average, but the food and the customer service was above our expectations.
Their California Omelette is a must try dish! It has crab, cheese and avocado in it. The flavour blends in so well. Chicken fried steak and eggs were delicious too.
The lady that served us was friendly. She called us “amigos” the whole time with a genuinely friendly smile.
We enjoyed our meal and the customer service.

Delicious food, our server Martha was extremely friendly, and on top of things- making sure we had the condiments we needed, making suggestions, and bringing to-go boxes when she saw that we were done eating.
The design of the building makes the dining area extremely loud if there’s a crowd, but other than that a great experience.

This was easily the best breakfast I have had in a long time! What a great place. They make the bread in house, the coffee is better than Starbucks and Agnes was the nicest person ever!

Cute restaurant in a small harbor town serving out delicious pancakes and bread. First time I’ve been here and I can say I will definitely be returning especially for the homemade bread.

Joy of Eating Cafe in Suisun City is a must-visit for anyone who loves classic cafe food without the greasy spoon vibes. This place has that cozy, home-cooking feel and a welcoming atmosphere. The service was fantastic – friendly and tentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I ordered “The Suisun Scrambler” with hash browns and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Joy of Eating Cafe is worth a stop. You won’t be disappointed.
Tip: Don’t leave without trying their bread! It’s baked fresh daily and is seriously amazing.

One of my favorite spots for breakfast. Nothing fancy, but yummy food.
I like the Sunset Omelet and the French toast breakfast with strawberries on top.
Waitresses always very attentive and refills of coffee on a timely manner. They normally don’t forget about you and check on you to make sure you are still doing ok.

Big breakfasts, great pricing, homey feel with great service and attention to details. The bread is AMAZING and they even sell loaves of it to take home. Went here without knowing anything about it and it was a pleasant surprise. Will be back
