It’s extra hard to review places like this.. small, family owned, attentive staff, cozy quiet atmosphere and my coffee mug was never empty but, alas, it is a restaurant and because of this, it is meant to serve good food. The food…not so good. I ordered a veggie omelet and added bacon. My first mistake was to order an omelet (a rather technical dish to master) and also my all time favorite breakfast meal (so my standards are high and I’ve had omelets from restaurants all over the country). This was probably one of the worst of the omelets I’ve had…the eggs were way over cooked and the bacon was just bacon bits crisped up and thrown in. Overcooking the eggs gave it an almost leathery texture. The hash browns were mushy and under seasoned and the toast was quite bland and almost more stale than toasted, drizzled with what was either oil or butter (I wasn’t quite sure…). Overall, I ate my meal. I was very pleasant, as were the employees. I paid for my meal, left a decent tip and I left. I will not be back. It’s not my job to tell them what I didn’t like, plenty of people like this place and keep coming back again and again. It just wasn’t my cup of tea! I’m no food critic, just a lover of food and an amateur cook myself. And that’s my review! Now go and check it out for yourself! They have lunch and dinner too, perhaps that’s better than their omelettes! 🙂

I ordered a chef salad, the first chef salad that I’ve ever tried that had 1) 2 types of fake cheese and large chunks of veggies rather than cut up bite-size portions, and 2) didn’t come with an egg. Highly disappointed. Our server was very pleasant (Cyrus) but the manager or whoever was acting cashier, seemed like she was angry or super stressed. It was very off-putting. Our family had leftovers from our lunch that we re-heated for dinner, but it was very tasteless as a re-heated meal. Not impressed. We gave it a try, but we won’t be back.

Was told under new ownership. Clean. Menu said breakfast served until noon, but at 11am, they told us they were done and we had to order lunch. Service was lacking. Staff stood around talking near the register as we tried to get their attention. Drinks never refilled. Food was basic and lacked flavor. Ketchup was straight tomato paste. Disappointed.

Waited an hour for our food, only one order needed to be cooked to order. Was very disappointed. Would love to recommend as I try to support family owned businesses, but sadly cannot. When I asked about our order, noticing that some who came after us were served, I was met with excuses and then attitude. I have rarely complained at a restaurant, but to pay this much to sit for an hour waiting warranted an inquiry. Needless to say I lost my appetite. I hope they are able to fix the management issues and be successful.

Good service and good food. They seemed a little short staffed. There was only 1 waiter and 1 waitress.

Really love the look inside. It has an inviting and warm feeling. The food was decent. The hashbrowns were a little clumpy and mash potatoes like texture. Everything else was great. Eggs were perfect. Bacon, sausage and toast was good. My friend had their mushroom burger. She didn’t like it. She never said why. I tried their fries and tried a comerford of bites of the burger. Fries were awesome. They’re the batter dipped fries crispy texture outside. Soft moist texture in middle. The burger was okay. Not a wow factor. Better than Red Robin.

The food was delicious and very well priced! It was quiet and calm when we were there for lunch. A nice break from the crowded, large, chain restaurants we are used to. The staff was super friendly too! I had a twice baked potato (delicious) and the salad bar. My son had a cheeseburger and fries (best fries we’ve had in a while). I highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was excellent. Be prepared because the portion sizes are huge. We should have split our breakfast. It was a busy Sunday morning and like many other places they were short staffed. so our good was a little slow coming out.
