Good food, good service, nothing fancy, just doing breakfast/lunch right. Not the best chicken fried steak I’ve had, better than other, so good. By the vehicle’s outside, almost full parking lot, a popular place in gainesville. Need to put either a Men’s sign or Women sign on the restrooms and shave the bottom of one door for easier shutting

1. Hometown atmosphere, country restaurant very clean. 2. Amazing, greeted us within 30 seconds even though they were busy. Got us seated and settled within 5 minutes. 3. Great variety on the menu. Everything we ordered was fresh and hot right out of the kitchen. 4. wait staff were great “shout out to Debbie”. Found out a little history. The restaurant was founded almost 40 years ago. If you are going through Gainesville, Tx this is a must stop for breakfast or lunch!

Good food, good service, good company! We dined in on a Sunday morning around 9:30 and the place was already bustling! We were thankfully able to be seated almost right away and between the party of 5, I believe we tried almost every component of the breakfast menu. Nothing disappointed! From the crispy but not burned bacon, to the pancakes, skillet, and even a hamburger one had for breakfast everything was cooked to perfection and can’t out of the kitchen quick!
Our glasses were never empty and checkout was a breeze with the server taking the card at the table on a mobile processor.
We’ll definitely plan to return when we’re in the area… Or maybe on a Sunday drive ☺️

Everything about this place I couldn’t get enough of fantastic and filling food, excellent staff, and the small diner atmosphere. Met up with a couple friends who are local and showed me this gem. It was great to have a nice conversation in a warming and welcoming place and get full on a cold day ❤️ 10/10 will be coming back

We had a wonderful meal at Trails Inn. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and my husband had the biscuits and gravy with sunny-side-up eggs. Everything was seasoned perfectly, cooked just right, and absolutely tasty.
The portions were spot-on—my husband left a happy plate, and mine was so plentiful I even had leftovers, which included scrambled eggs and hash browns. You definitely get your money’s worth here.
Great food, hearty portions, and classic comfort flavors done right. We highly recommend stopping in if you’re in Gainesville!

Great cafe for a wonderful lunch with family. Our server was very good with our orders getting everything just as we wanted. The food was delicious. We each ordered different food and each plate looked wonderful!

You can tell this is a locals favorite. Breakfast was the best I’d had. Definitely plan on going again when passing through. Not far the Winstar Casino and way cheaper to at than the casino.

First time here. Price reasonable. Had the open face roast beef. It was good. The way it tasted in my earlier days. Hard to find this. Ordered a peice of apple pie. Very good and big in size. Others with me said they enjoyed their meals as well. I’ll come back.

I walked into this place feeling sad, defeated, and mad, having lost all my money at the casino. But baby, I promise you I left full happy and unbothered about the money that was gone. Ok, let me start by saying I was nervous thinking me and my husband might not belong, but I was wrong. We were greeted right away and told sit wherever we like. The food is why I’m making this whole review. My breakfast bowl was so huge my 3 eggs on top were over medium to perfection. And my drench toast was amazing as well. I didn’t even need syrup. My husband veggies omelet was good too, and I’m someone who graves meat, but it was tasty. Guys, I ate on this food for 2 days, and it was still good. I only wish it was a tad bit cleaner. But I’d still go back real quick. Shout out to the cook. Thanks for the great food
