Our group of 13 loved this spot! Great prices, timely service, delicious food. The fries were amazing! The outdoor seating was a plus for us too – it’s a well maintained area. The inside was really nice as well. Will stop by again!

Food was fresh, fast and delicious! Cheese curds were incredibly good to me, and the prices for everything were fair in my opinion! Would definitely come back through here for more! Our server Courtney was so good to us and so nice, she deserves the shoutout! Thank you for your hospitality, you guys are awesome

12/28/2025 : Service was very good. We were treated really good for not being one of the locals. And it was obvious that we were not local. Got to chat with a few locals at the bar. And everyone was really nice.
Food was great!! Definitely hit the spot after riding 50 miles today.
Atmosphere: It’s your local bar and pub. Duh! Wish I lived local. It’d be my favorite go to place.
We even got invited in for New Year’s Eve. I bet it’s gonna a BLAST!
Thank You for everything today. And thank your local Customers for making us feel welcomed today. We travel all over. So anytime we talk about our ride today. We’re definitely recommending this place for after ride meal.

I visited the Trailhead Bar and Grill for dinner on Thursday and Friday night. They were packed but our food came just as we ordered it. I ate a club sandwich and sidewinder fries on Thursday and Catfish on Friday. They were both 10/10. I spoke to the owner and he said he hand breads the catfish himself. The prices were amazing too!!
All my friends were raving about their food choices.
Matewan is our favorite of all the places we go trail riding!

My wife and I stayed in town for two nights recently. We stopped in the first night to check it out and ended up eating and enjoying a few drinks. The staff was very welcoming. The appetizers and meals were great. We enjoyed the first visit so much we went back again the next night. They were also helpful directing us to points of interest we were looking for. Looking forward to going here the next time we ride through!!!

Came in late on accident, the winter hours are an hour early but our waitress was suoer nice and the food was delicious, GREAT price, paid 12.99 for a catfish meal with a lil cup of slaw, 3 lil hushpuppies, 2 good size pieces of catfish anf a good side of fries, cheese curds were amazing, especially compared to most cheese curds I’ve had when out, highly recommend you stop here!!!! Randomly choose this joint after a 5 hr drive to get my bf bratz dolls from FB marketplace and very glad we chose this joint to eat at>:)

Our group of 6 trail riders stopped in for dinner after a fun day on the trails. Great service and food! I enjoyed a Grilled Cheese Burger, and a margarita, delicious! Not a complaint among our group. Definitely recommend.
