I’m trying a new place every time I hit Auburn & today’s review is Trailblazer Craft Pizza & Brews
I ordered online, simple straightforward & used Gpay. I drove up, parked and had my pizza in hand in 15 minutes from the time I ordered. (mid day)
The pizza looked and smelled so good I didn’t notice a minor topping error from my order at first. I knew I was probably gonna get a molten cheese bite but i didn’t care, worth it!
Great appearance with perfectly caramelized crust from sauce & cheese to the edges. I ordered The Haleakalā
Traditional Red Sauce, Canadian Bacon, Crispy Bacon, Green Onion, Pineapple, Sweet Thai drizzle I added black olives (Sweet n Salty)
When I walked back in to use the restroom I mentioned the order mistake and there were genuinely apologetic looks. I explained it wasn’t a big deal but they might want to mention to their person to look a little closer on the next order.
Restroom was clean & smelled fresh.
It’s a pleasing center bar configuration inside the dining area, nice decor. I’ll definitely be back but I’ll be sure to double check my order before I walk out next time.
I don’t know that I’d actually ask to have a pizza remade for anything other than an allergy issue or an extreme disgust like anchovies. But this Wahine Maikai is pretty chill bruddah

Came in and paid cash for my order and asked for a later pick up at 5pm. This was early afternoon. The lady agreed but was perpetually confused as she kept telling me that it would take about 20 minutes for pick up. Once we cleared that all up, I was late for work. I called prior to 5pm and the person who answered the phone found my order, confirmed it, and told me everything was good to go and they’ll see me at 5pm. I arrived and it was slammed. I watched everyone else come in and pick up their food and leave. I was there for about 30 mins and I just wanted my money back. The lady tried to give me half of what I paid. I was furious. She eventually refunded all of my money. Hungry, tired, and just wanting pizza, I ended up just stopping at Papa Murphy’s. Less than half the cost, but at least I got a pizza within 5 mins to take home and bake myself. Should have done that to begin with…. My first and last time trying out Trailblazers. Confused staff, disappointing outcome.

My friend took me here today. We had the pioneer. Really good pizza! The bottom crust was perfect. Wasn’t saggy at all. Really good flavor. They had a nice craft beer selection with local area breweries.

Our pizza, called “The Cascade” is supposed to have artichoke hearts on it. It only has artichoke leaves. This has been the case the last 3 times we have eaten here. In the past the pizza had quartered artichoke hearts on it and it was delicious. At $26 for a medium pizza I want hearts, not leaves! Cheaping out on the ingredients is what tanks pizza places and makes patrons go elsewhere.

Trailblazers is incredible! I’ve never had a bad meal there but my favorite pizza is The Backpacker and my favorite non-pizza item is the Buffalo Wings. I haven’t been to the Auburn location yet, but I’m prone to assume it’s just as good

This place has improved so much under new ownership. I’m very tough on my pizza reviews but I’d rate all their pizzas good to excellent. It is our neighborhood go to restaurant and the service and staff are always excellent. Can’t wait to try their new Auburn location. Props to the ownership for bringing good food to the community.

We had the Backpacker’s Burger Pizza and the bread sticks. Everything was absolutely delicious! The pickles on the pizza really enhance the flavor. We highly recommend! This is now one of our favorite pizza places in the area!

We took our family to Trailblazers on Tuesday night to celebrate our TKer’s first performance. We arrived in two groups: my mother, her partner, and my mother in law, and then my husband and my daughter met them there.
They had my mother (who has mobility issues and currently uses crutches) waiting at the front while people busily pushed past her. It took quite a while to get seated.
Our server was the main issues of the night. We ordered a salad to start, and we were brought the wrong dressing by someone other than our server. Simple mistake, but it took the server 20 minutes minutes to come by again so we could tell her that the order was wrong.
Our pizzas were dropped off soon (again, by someone other than our server) and she took her time coming by to check on us. Here is my main issue:
When we told her that the food didn’t taste right, she laughed and asked if she could grab me the menu to “check the ingredients”. I have never been do taken back by an answer.
Spoiler alert: everyone who ate that pizza got sick. So obviously, something was wrong.
We won’t be going back. We’ve had bad experience after bad experience with their staff, and this was the final straw.
