No matter when I walk into this tavern the service, atmosphere, food & service is top notch! Whether it’s Hackett, James, Meadows, Carlos, or Rick these guys are top notch! Food and drinks are inexpensive but so good, you’ll be back. I went to CSU, moved away, then back in 1998. I’ve been a faithful patron here ever since. So, having done the math… 27 years. This place is a dependably awesome establishment that never lets me down. Great beers & shots for about $4. Delicious wings, burgers, and deep fried (you name it). $3 basket of homemade potato chips with ranch is outstanding for the price!! I could go on and on, but you need to step in and see for yourself. From college kids to blue collar hard working folks to retired folks, ALL are welcome and accepted. Cheers!

Top tier bar in town! One of my favorites. It’s a great place to sit and watch a game or to have a huge together to hang! Some of the best fries and wings in town!! The bar tenders are quick and welcoming! I bring everyone from out of town here because it’s just such a great spot!

Absolutely love Trailhead- the staff are awesome: welcoming and attentive, especially James and Patrick. You’d never expect standard bar fare to be home to some of the freshest greens, but I love to order the big canyon salad and it never disappoints! It also helps me justify an order of the hot and delicious Jalapeño poppers . My new favorite part about the Trailhead is that they carry RationAle, now!! It’s the tastiest NA craft beer and it’s such a treat, whenever I go to grab lunch. Yay for a great local favorite!!!! (oh and very worth mentioning- perfect atmosphere for celebrating, watching sports, hanging with friends, playing pool and they have such great prices for epic value, too.)

Because my son didn’t tip told I was sketchy. I told him what u said and he told me because I didn’t tip i was sketchy. My boy began to say my dad isn’t sketch and the guy got in his face with other guy. I then told my son let’s leave…I lost money that day.

The manager and the bartender went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. When I say we, I mean my daughter and me went there on homecoming. We got there at 5:45 had our order in. I asked my 18 yro to go to the car and get my glasses. When she came back the bouncer said she couldn’t come. Well those guys made sure we got to eat. This will be a regular stop we I come back from Wi.

Well when the last two reviews are about bad service and someone locking a bike up to someone’s property I feel the need to come and review the pace. The owner is extremely nice and very easy to deal with. Lunch here is great Bobos chicken tenders are always crispy and hot, trailhead burger is always a classic and the cheese fries with bacon are perfect. Alcohol prices are very fair and on the lower end 2 coors will only set ya back 6$ unlike the Rio that same 2 will set ya back 12$. Place feels perfect and is always welcoming. The bartender is a very nice guy and the gal that works here is also super sweet. I love to grab lunch here.

The fish n chips are good! Fish had great texture, fries were yummy steak fries, and the slaw was light and crispy. Worth $14.

The bartender was pleasent. Super cheap. 2 beers & 2 meals was $25. Reminds me of a college bar in my hometown and any other college town. Fish and chips were good. Wings were soggy and I had asked for them extra crispy.

Bad experience. This was the first location we went to and for some reason they did not let us in. We were told that we were “too drunk” BUT they were the first place we went to. Unsure why this happened but it almost seemed like they just didn’t want more people in the bar. Super not cool especially where we don’t get a valid for why we don’t get to come in. Never coming to Trail head again. Bad hospitality.
