Unbelievably delicious food and impeccable service at this cozy Adirondack restaurant. Bonnie the server was a delight; she was so attentive and sweet and recommended me the Chicken Marsala which blew me away!

We will definitely be returning the next time we’re in the area! Thank you

I highly recommend the French dip! Best one I have ever had! Great Summer Patio. Live music regularly. Service (Randi) is friendly and fun.

We came in around 4:30 on a Wednesday. The service was amazing, super nice waiters! The restaurant was empty, so we were able to sit wherever we wanted. There are booth seats, a bar area, long tables, and a dining area. It’s a quite small but comfortable place. There wasn’t any music playing, which is a small downside. Drinks were brought quickly and we were immediately able to order. The first few dishes, the starters, came relatively quickly. The onion soup one of us ordered was cold. Politely, the waiter came back to microwave it and heat it up! The second dishes took a little longer. We were also informed that one of our meal choices weren’t available. The main complaint is that the eggplant in the dish we ordered was very hard, and overall unappetizing. Once again, my waiter was super nice about it! After noticing we didn’t eat any of it and it didn’t meet our expectations, she took it off of our check! I’ve heard that this place is leased off to different owners every year and the menu changes, and right now it has very polite staff, a lot of room, and decent food!

We enjoy going to Trailbreak year round. Usually, it is just my wife and I. We love having dinner at their beautiful bar. Food and service is always great. We also love when they have live entertainment.Tonight, we brought our whole family (10 adults and a baby). They handled our large group like pros. Service was spot on. Our dinner was well paced. Every order was perfect and the food was excellent.

Love coming to the Trail Break at Schroon Lake. Our New Years Eve Dinner was great. We had the Bang, Bang Shrimp it did not disappoint, along with the Alfredo Fettuccini and the Baseball Steak cooked to medium rare, perfect. Dessert was the homemade Apple Crisp al mode and the Raspberry cheesecake, both very good. The service by Bonnie was excellent I highly recommend coming here. Happy New Year

Great stuff coming out of this kitchen. The soup was a corn chowder which was pure summer in a bowl. The Cajun style Dirty Pasta was also excellent. Solid beer selection. 100% will return next time I’m in town.

My girlfriend and I are from NYC, we are in town to ski and needed a place to eat after a long day of eating dirt on the mountain. Most places near our lodge were closed, and we came across this place and gave it a shot. We had Bonnie as our waitress, and she was excellent. The service was attentive and she made great recommendations. I had the pot roast which was a perfect hearty meal after a day of skiing. My girlfriend had the fettuccine Alfredo with fried chicken cutlet, she loved it. We had mozzarella sticks and French onion soup for appetizers both were delicious. Overall experience 10/10. Reasonable prices, great food, friendly service, convenience of being open, would highly recommend.

FANTASTIC PLACE! ❤️‍ The Mainstreet Burger was juicy and flavorful, and the Bang Bang Shrimp starter was amazing. You can tell it’s a family owned spot because they really care about their customers. Super friendly service and a great vibe we will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner tonight. I had a Cobb salad with chicken and my husband had the dirty pasta. Our food came out SO quickly and both meals were delicious. The service was outstanding. Our server was Grant; he was not only handsome but extremely attentive and fast. It’s refreshing to see such a young man working so hard and doing such a great job!!! We had a lovely evening !

We had a large group and so we made reservations several days in advance. I understand that for a group of 20, expectations should be different. However that is why we called in advance and also promised to pay all in one bill, not separate. Despite our efforts, we had the slowest service ever. There was one waitress serving the entire restaurant, and it was her 4th day on the job. They excused the slow service with staffing issues, but that shouldn’t be my problem. The food was actually very good, although overpriced. We spent $1000 in one bill but it took us 3 hours to be served. It was exhausting. Not recommended for large groups.
