One of the kind! Suitable for brunch or small lunch. The steak is affordable and really tasty. Their butter bread is unbelievable, smell good and a bit crispy. They open at 11 am but 11.04 is almost crowded on sunday.

I generally enjoy the food here. Today was different. The menu described the chicken fried steak as hand battered. It absolutely was not. It was a prison-grade frozen patty at best. It was obviously bought as was. The batter was too thick and undercooked. The meat was not good. The salad and bread were good as usual. The service was good as well. This was the most disappointing meal that I ever ate at Trail Boss. I’ll stick to the porkchops. Oh, the wings were tasty.

I’d give it 10 stars if it was an awesome. Incredible food, incredible service. Our waitress was so nice. Steak was cooked perfectly and the appetizer sampler was awesome. I would come back here anytime!!

I always stop here when I’m in town. Decent steak, good atmosphere and service. Pretty waitresses! Update:steaks have great flavor, although this one was cut thin. My med rare was more medium. Still juicy and delicious. Wish steaks were twice as thick as what I got. Still recommend. Edit:This visit (10/12/24) was the best yet!

After reading many reviews, we really didn’t know what to expect. The only 4 star I gave was because the lights were quite dim so it was a little difficult to see the menu and it was uncomfortably cold. We were seated immediately and our server, Laci, came right over to take our drink order and bring us their complimentary rolls. Our Caesar salad was fresh and crisp. Our food was served hot and our steaks were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. I asked for A1 sauce but didn’t need it. We definitely recommend Trail Boss Steakhouse and will go back the next time we are in the area.

EVERY appetizer and entree and side is DELICIOUS! And service is EXCEPTIONAL!! My go-to is their Sagebrush Chicken Supreme with a side of grilled vegetables. Their salads are fresh and the rolls are AMAZING!

Good fried mushrooms. Heard great reviews on the burgers so we tried it. It was good but the bun and burger were a little too dry for my taste buds. Will try steak next time we pass through the area. Waitress was like a drink ninja we didn’t even have to ask for refills it was always just there.

Very fast service to get seated, drink and order. I decided to get the steak and half rack of ribs, with sweet potato and water.
The food came quick. Ordered the steak medium but it definitely was med well, still tasty but a little dry. Ribs were dry and without rub, as many Louisiana style are, but they bring a bowel of BBQ sauce to add flavor.
At almost 30 bucks (35 w/tip) it was good but not a 5 star.
Like I said there was nothing bad, service good, location good and the food was 4 out of 5….
I will try just one of the Porter house steaks next trip for 37 and expect a 5.
