We have tried most of the menu. The Nachos are my absolute favorite. Fully loaded and great for sharing. The location is beautiful however it’s small and currently only for takeout. I envision a small seated area outside in the warmer months. The hand painted murals are beautiful on the building. Adds color to the surrounding area.

My favorite place since I moved into the Frederick area to satisfy my taco craving. The tacos are very traditional style you would associate with Mexican street tacos and seem to get the job done. I tend to get the Birria style to add a little more flavor. They are loaded with meat and I never finish my meal disappointed.

What I like about Traditional is their authentic Mexican food , fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The menu is simple, and everything from their food trucks to takeout is consistently great. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and I highly recommend them, especially for parties or group gatherings.

I wanted to like this place as it has great photos online and looks fun from the road, but it was disappointing. There is no indoor seating but they do have outdoor seating available behind the shop. The main reason the rating is low is due to the meat in the tacos and burrito having zero flavor. I got three tacos with three types of meat, and all three had no flavor. My wife got a burrito and noted hers had no flavor too.

First time I tried their food, I had their street tacos with brisket, which are amazing. Then I tried the fried quesadilla, which is next level. Never had a quesadilla this good.

I was delighted to see taquitos on the menu but they were such a disappointment. It was almost all tortilla shell with a tiny bit of something inside $16. It was at the fair or I would have returned it. Chivo que has amazing taquitos!

5 different kinds of meat to pick from Briskit, pastor, chorizo, chicken, steak and vegetarian options. Great friendly and quick service.

I wanted to really like this place, but was pretty disappointed this evening. The service was friendly and fast. The ambiance is sort of lackluster, not any inside seating, just two chairs by the front door. I do like how they painted the outside of the building and I think the picnic tables out back when it’s warmer out could be fun.
Onto the food! We ordered the fried quesadilla, street tacos with three different proteins, and lastly street corn. The presentation was fine, nothing special, but the food itself was all just kind of…bland. No way else to explain it, just not memorable in any way. We spent nearly $40.00 after tip which felt pretty pricey for what we received. Overall, we’ll probably avoid coming back here in the future. I heard the food truck is good.
If you’re reading this, I hope your experience is better than ours.

This place looked awesome, but we were very disappointed. We went for lunch on a Saturday, there was no seating, and the kitchen was pretty dirty, but we reluctantly ordered since we made the drive to Buckeystown. There was only one person working, and it didn’t seem like she had anything prepped. We ordered tacos and loaded fries. The tacos were soaked in grease to the point that the tortillas were falling apart. The fries were covered in what seemed to be gas station type nacho cheese. I ordered double meat, but I was lucky if there was a half cup in total. Those too were very greasy. I was given a spoon to eat the fries because she didn’t have any forks. I’m not sure where the traditional part of this was, but this isn’t it. We ended up throwing away 3/4 of the food because it was so bad. Don’t waste your time, Taco Bell has more “traditional” mexican than this place.

I rarely get the chance to have Mexican food, but whenever I eat it, I realize all over again that it’s the tastiest food on the planet.
