TradeWinds Italian Restaurant has been a part of the Niceville community since 1996! Tom D’Eufemia laid the groundwork back in 1996 when he purchased the existing “TradeWinds Restaurant.” The original restaurant served pizza & sandwiches and sold home beer brewer’s supply. Tom’s passion for food, wine and socializing snowballed over the years into what TradeWinds Restaurant is today. With Tom’s passing in 2014 we were all left with a void that would never be filled. The team at TradeWinds continued Tom’s legacy and the restaurant has continued to thrive and serve the community we all love. Reservations recommended.

Wonderful food and friendly staff. I try to go at least once when I’m in town and my aunt has been eating here for 20 years! The pizza is delicious and that’s saying something coming from someone from the Northeast. The bread is to die for and the pasta dishes are fresh and delicious. This spot is a gem!

Although I’ve never actually sat down to eat here, I will say their food is amazing! Always get the crab cakes and mussels to go with fresh baked bread! Sooooooo good that you will never want to go anywhere else for crab cakes or mussels! The mussels are soaked in a red, white or orange sauce of your choice. The bread is always fresh! You get some garlic olive oil to dip it in. The crab cakes are one of a kind that you’ll never find anywhere else! If it wasn’t such a drive I would eat from here more often! Worth the drive though for sure!

What can I say? It is perfect, no frills, American-style Italian food. There is NOTHING on the menu I would not try. The mussels were so well cooked, massive portions, no grit. The entrees… I had chicken parm, were perfectly executed. I could bathe in their marinara sauce. The environment is warm, inviting, friendly but not overly fussy. It was a perfect experience. Make a reservation any night of the week during tourist season because it was immediately packed.

Very cute Italian spot, and you can smell the garlic as you walk up. Reservations are recommended, and I can see why. It is a very popular spot, so make reservations. Our waitress was awesome and gave me great recommendations. We had the amazing bread to start. Also had the yummy crab cakes. Followed by the capricciosa pizza. The crust was crispy, and the toppings were plentiful. If I am ever back in town, I will definitely be back.

Tradewinds’ Margarita pizza is a total winner! The crust is perfectly crisp with just the right amount of chewiness. The sauce is super fresh and vibrant, and you can tell they use quality tomatoes. The mozzarella is creamy and melts perfectly, giving you that classic Margherita goodness in every bite. Plus, the basil is fresh and fragrant, adding a nice pop of flavor. Seriously, if you’re craving a simple but delicious pizza, Tradewinds nails it.

A hidden gem in Niceville. Wonderful ambiance and even better food- we’re from out of town and this place is such a delight. Entrees come with a nice fresh salad and the complimentary bread and garlic oil is delicious, but save room for your entree because portions are generous. The grouper piccata was perfectly seasoned; very delicate with the ideal amount of capers. I paired it with a crisp chenin blanc and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The service was great too. I’m French, so I can be hard to please. This restaurant has my stamp of approval. Merci!

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! Have lived in Crestview for about 5 years and I’ve just recently heard about this place. We are always trying to find local places with great service and cuisine. Tradewinds by FAR exceeded all expectations! Our server Shelly was attentive and super friendly. The prices for the amount of food you get are crazy (in a good way!). VERY reasonable prices for scrumptiously big portions of food. Any of the dishes can be easily split between two people for a full meal (to include the HUGE bruschetta!). I ordered the veal piccata and my son ordered the seafood special (shrimp in a vodka sauce with pene pasta). Both were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. I was very happy to have a cut of veal instead of a mincemeat patty like a lot of restaurants use. Then we had to try their tiramisu. Oh WOW!! Y’all, if you haven’t tried this place you NEED to make a reservation and get in! I cannot wait to try everything on their menu!
