Google maps showed this as the closest sit down, non fast food place, near my hotel.
Sat down at the counter, as I was by myself. The waitress immediately assumed I knew what I wanted without reading a menu, she eventually gave me one.
I chose to order the dual pork tenderloin dinner. Two sides are included, I chose fries and applesauce. The price of $9.99 seemed fair.
My position at the counter allowed me to watch the cook prepare my meal. When my meal was ready, it sat for a good while a mere six feet away from me. As I was about to get up and retrieve it myself, the waitress appeared and placed it in front of me.
I immediately noticed my applesauce was missing. But the staff seemed overwhelmed and inefficient, so I ignored it.
The pork tenderloin, served grilled, was quite good. The fries seemed B grade, as they contained many imperfections, but they were still crispy and tasted good. The included dinner roll was microwaved, for far too long and became nearly a rock when I split it open to apply some butter. The biggest challenge of eating this meal was trying to cut the tenderloin with the dull knife provided.
I wanted to try their peanut butter pie, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert. Unfortunately about half way through my meal, in mid bite, the waitress appeared. She wasn’t there to check if everything was okay, or to offer a refill. She was there to give me my ticket. I informed her I was contemplating dessert and I wasn’t finished yet. She indicated she was doing me a favor, but then offered to get me the desert I wanted. Instead of ordering dessert, I took the hint and accepted the check.
I paid with a credit card, and still left a 25% tip. Walking back to the car, I noticed she didn’t give me my card back. Went back inside and discovered it was still sitting in the chip reader. I asked another staff member to retrieve it for me.
Overall, the food was decent, but the service was lack luster, and my treatment appalling.

Food was very good. My friend and I both had breakfast. Sarah took very good care of us. She was the only server there and the restaurant was over 2/3 full. She handled everything with cool professionalism and expert care. We will definitely return and recommend it to friends. Very good experience.

I am so disappointed! This place use to be the go to for breakfast in somerset! Great food and service! Now service is basically non existent. If you do have the honor of someone taking your order (or even speaking to you at all) you are quickly ignored for the next hour they are out of everything food wise! So don’t expect any bacon, potatoes or most everything else! Food was not cooked through despite us being the only customers in the place and waiting over an hour for the food. I really do not know how they are still open

Food and service leaves much to be desired. I ordered a burger. It was overcooked, dry and flavorless. A little salt and pepper could have gone a long way. Once food was dropped at my table, waitress disappeared nowhere to be found. People were trying to pay and just had to leave money on table and walk out without change. Note, at the present time they only have about 4 or 5 tables open and some stools at the counter. One person waited 15 minutes for a spoon after their food was dropped off. Prices are reasonable but not for the food and service received. Just grab an eggroll at the Speedway next door.

My wife and I eat here regularly, about twice a month or so. Dont know what changed but today the quality of the food was much greater than it has been for a long time. The bacon was crispy and perfectly cooked, pancakes delicious, and omelette was packed with excellent quality ingredients. If they can consistently deliver this quality of food I would change my rating to 5/5.

The waitresses are wonderful, but I wasn’t totally impressed with the food.
But you get what you pay for, it’s very basic.
In the end I wouldn’t go back for the pancakes, but I would definitely eat the bacon they make again.
French toast is 10/10 recommended.

Tracks end used to be a fine place to get a quick meal for those that tire of the drive through burger experience. I walked in there Tuesday , and there was no one there except the cook. Having only one person on duty , that meant she was both waitress a d cook. If they actually had any business, the service would of drove off what few people they may have attracted, as being behind counter cooking allows no time to give service. Their thinking they can find this restaurant charging 2.29 for any drink like a soda fountain coke or coffee makes me want to only order water. This could be a fine little restaurant if it only had some talented management.

I have been here for breakfast before and it was always great and reasonable! This was the 1st time I have been there for lunch and I will never go back again. I ordered a bowl of chilli that was brought to me cold. Not warmed up at all. I also ordered a BLT. This is what they brought me, 2 pieces of toast with literally 1 leaf of lettuce, 1 slice of tomato, 2strips of bacon. Also came with chips. They were the best thing on the plate. Thanks for the $5.99 bag of chips Tracks End!
