My 1st time coming here bad experience! Went there and got a combo meal, chicken was dry and hard, coleslaw was sticky booger like, the biscuit was hard as a rock. Waited about 20 minutes for my combo meal there was only 3 other customers in the lobby, while waiting i watched a cockroach crawl on the booth table wall. I told the “general manager” Desiree and it seemed like she didn’t even care at all. After asking where is my meal she rolled her eyes and yelled at her employee where is this order. No apologies for waiting. I’m never coming back to this place or any Popeyes, management sucks at 2408 east main. I felt bad for the employees working for that manager. What a waste of $

Im probably never coming to this location ever again. Idk if they were having a bad day or what but dont take it out on me ! I came here on my lunch a few days ago in the drive through i ordered a 5 piece strip meal. Got to the window to pay and did and I was handed just stips. I told the lady excuse me I ordered a meal and was met with ” no you didn’t I would know I took your order.” I I told her yes I did i paid for it double checking my receipt before handing it to her. She then proceeded to argue with me that I didn’t and it was just a typo even though it said and I paid for both a side and drink finally the manager acting like she had better things to do got me my food acting like it was my fault cause I didn’t get what I paid for. Need better training. Smh

Super bizarre interaction last night. Waited 21 minutes on a drive through order.l, sent a text message to a friend when I first pulled up after ordering so I’m positive on the time. Based on previous reviews it seems to be a regular problem. Order speaker was barely audible. Was dealing with the manager from the beginning. Was about to go in to cancel the order when he brought out the food. No acknowledgement or apology at all for the wait. Just an incoherent mumble as he handed us our food. I won’t be back.

I am so excited that Popeye’s has opened a branch in Farmington, NM! Now we have the dynamic trio of chicken places in the area. For flavor, Popeye’s only has the original and the extra spicy. Neither one is as spicy as I thought they would be. Next trip I’m going to try the blackened chicken sandwich. On this trip I got the three piece combo; one piece extra spicy and two original. Your meal always comes with a biscuit. For my side I went with red beans and rice. The chicken was done perfectly and the red beans and rice were wonderful with a slight smokey flavor. My wife and I decided to try the chocolate beignet. They’re nothing compared to what you can get in the French quarter of course, but they’re not bad as a fast food dessert. Be prepared the chocolate is dark chocolate!

Not impressed. Got a 3 piece combo and that is the smallest chicken I’ve seen. Drumstick was the length of my index finger, thigh looked like a nugget. Wing was actually normal size. (See pictures)
Wife got shrimp and tenders combo and actually got to eat. Shrimp was good and tenders were ok.

I placed an online order from work and proceeded to the location to pick it up only to find that it had not been started yet. Understandable if it was busy. But it was 11:30 am and nobody was in the lobby or drive thru. This is an order for 7 people so I understand it will take some time. But after 45 minutes of waiting and seeing other orders go out, I linger at the counter and do not get acknowledged for over 10 minutes. They proceed to talk to each other through the headsets as if I cannot hear them myself. They’re arguing about my order and what’s going on. They finally figure out that not only is it complete, but it’s been sitting on the counter for 20 minutes (I know because I was staring at it wondering what could it be missing that would take so long?) By now all my sodas were flat and the chicken is cold. My staff that I picked it up for was glad for it, But I was disappointed. And despite all this, when I asked for more sauce I had to pay for it… after spending $100 on lunch and being forgotten about. Although they apologized for the wait, it was empty and I will not be returning.

I’ll rate this on a 5 star scale for Popeyes and other fast food restaurants. The service was friendly and the food was hot and delicious. Exactly what you want from a Popeyes. The disappointing aspect of this restaurant is that almost every table needed to be cleaned and the floor swept/mopped. Cleanliness is crucial in my rating of a restaurant.
Would recommend for the good and would recommend you bringing wipes. We wiped down the table ourselves.

Horrible customer service, rude and incompetent staff!! We ordered through the drive through. It was a disaster. We ordered with a female. Then she said hold on. At that time a male came on the to take our order. We ordered again for the third time. We ordered the 12 piece mix and match wings. The male asked where we had seen that! We replied “ on the menu?. We pulled up to the window and paid. A girl then came to the window and asked what we ordered. Then a man came to the window and told us our order was lost. We asked to talk to a manager and he replied that he was the manager. He took our receipt and asked us to pull forward. We waited 30 minutes and went in to get a refund. Sean the manager didn’t know how to give a refund. He yelled at the customers out of frustration instead of trying to make it right. He was on the phone with another manager (Alisha) trying to figure out how to refund our order. Another disgruntled customer also came in and started yelling profanity and threatening to call the police. After a hour of waiting we finally had a different person lady give us a refund. We will never be back. We left and went to Kentucky fried chicken. Got our order in 5 minutes.

Got 10 pieces of dried out, like had been under heat lamp for couple hours and 2 fresh pieces, fries were dried out. Coleslaw was good. Never got the biscuits that were supposed to come with
