This is one of my family’s go to spots in Tenafly as we have been coming here for years. They have a nice variety of Italian choices on their menu, however we usually opt for the pizzas. I like that they offer different kinds of pies to fit whatever you may be in the mood for. They serve thin crust, grandma pies, gluten free pies, and my favorite the Sicilian. The Sicilian is my first choice because I am a fan of thicker heavy crusts that can hold everything together well; it is also nice and filling as I never finish up hungry which is very important. In our order, we typically get a large pepperoni pie with mushrooms, and a large Sicilian and just look at these pictures. Do I need to say anything else? Both of those pies are covered in toppings and cheese giving a great experience. Have you ever seen a pepperoni pie that just has a few pieces per slice? That won’t be a problem here as they load it up. My father made a point to say this was one of the best pepperoni pizzas he has ever had period. The sausage on the Sicilian was delicious as well. Much like you could probably guess from this picture, my family is quite satisfied. I definitely recommend saving some room for dessert; they offer a delicious orange olive oil cake, and strawberry cheesecake gelato which I will definitely be ordering again! The olive oil cake was very interesting and I believe that was my first one. It was nice and moist; goes well with a cappuccino. The strawberry cheesecake gelato was great because it was the perfect texture, and not too sweet. What I really like about this spot is that I always eat every bit of the pizza; everything down to the crust is delicious. There are some spots where I would opt to skip the crust, but here I am eating every bit because I could taste the quality ingredients. If I get curious, I may try some of their other menu items; that said I have been satisfied with their pizzas for a while so it would be tough to pass on those when I stop by. This place is definitely a hit for pizza lovers and I would recommend grabbing yours soon.

I have to say this is the worst pizza I have ever eaten, and I’ve eaten many. It’s truly inedible. We ordered delivery. I got a grandma pie with chicken cutlet, for 27 dollars… there was about 5 small pieces of chicken on it. It looked bad and when I took a bite it was like eating old stale rubbery pizza. It was definitely an old pizza they reheated! The cheese tasted like Daiya vegan cheese. The fries were dry and stale as well. I can’t believe they charge these prices and I cannot fathom why there are so many good reviews on this place. I don’t usually even write reviews but I feel I had to to save someone from spending 27 dollars on a pizza I could have gotten out of the frozen section better for 10 dollars.

I would absolutely give TPR 5 stars, and if I could give more, I would!
I truly appreciate the customer service and care they put into everything they do. The management and staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and make you feel genuinely appreciated.
When I go out to a local restaurant, I always look for a place that feels like home and TPR does exactly that. Fresh food, delicious flavors, a simple and cozy atmosphere, and kind people all around.
Whether you’re stopping by for a drink and a quick snack, bringing family for an amazing dinner, or even heading out on a snowy or rainy day, nothing beats enjoying something fresh and comforting from their menu.
Highly recommend TPR—a true local gem!

TPR is an amazing local Italian restaurant with many options. I’ve eaten here weekly since the new owner took over. It’s been redecorated and the owner is culinarily trained so no joke. I would give ten stars if I could! Come enjoy and be as beyond satisfied as I am. Enjoy!!!!

I just happened to order here on Grubhub and was delivered the most phenomenal eggplant parm hero I’ve ever had. Bread toasted to perfection, crunchy and delicious with the right amount of cheese, sauce and eggplant. It wasn’t cheap but it was worth every penny. I wish this spot was local for me as I just happened to be in the area but I might do something crazy and drive 25 minutes just to try it again.

Excellent pizza and Italian selections at moderate pricing. Warm bread delivered to the table as they bring your menus. The portions are generous. Our table of three had the Plain and Margherita personal size pizzas and a huge meatball sandwich. Also, we shared a large and tasty romaine house salad. Nice white tablecloth atmosphere with a selection of booths and tables. The entrance to the main sit-down section of the restaurant is not obvious. It’s through the door off to your left as you enter the take-out portion of the restaurant. Good dining for what is essentially a strip mall restaurant.

Have to start out by saying I eat ALOT of spicy rigatoni vodka & this is the best I’ve had in the state! Saucy so creamy and delicious !

Full bar with a nice wine selection and don’t skimp on the sandwiches! The meatball parm was amazing. But my heart is in the dinner , the chicken francese is CRAZY , also the chicken parm! And get a pizza … pepperoni… thank me later

Ate for the first time last night in TPR’s new Tavern Room to the right of the pizza pickup area. It’s a winner! Comfortable tables, beautiful water glasses and flatware. Very different vibe than the other traditional dining room with its booths.
We had an excellent server named Chris — very personable and professional. Food was delicious: chicken Marsala, balsamic chicken, eggplant parm, spinach, pasta and margherita pizza for our group.
Drinks were excellent. No wonder the bar in the back of the room is quickly becoming a casual favorite of locals. It has its own bar menu too.

I have been coming here for 27 years with my family. We have come for many family dinners and occasions. Cesar is amazing. He has been working here for over 10 years. The owners did change a few years ago, and recipes have changed a little, but the food was some of the best I’ve had in a long time. They are really stepping up their game. If you are in Tenafly or in the area, it’s definitely a place to check out.

Tenafly Pizza is a popular pizzeria known for its delicious, authentic New York-style pizzas. The restaurant uses high-quality ingredients and traditional recipes to create its pies, which are cooked in a wood-fired oven to give them a crisp, lightly charred crust.

In addition to its classic pizzas, Tenafly Pizza also offers a variety of specialty pies, as well as salads, subs, calzones, and other Italian favorites. Many customers appreciate the restaurant’s friendly and accommodating staff, as well as its casual, laid-back atmosphere.

We tried dinner grilled chicken, dinner grilled shrimp, lobster tail, and large cheese pizza. We enjoy the food and the atmosphere.
