Not feeling well we chose the carry out for today and it was excellent, very accommodating, service very timely. We go often on Sundays and have never been disappointed with the meal. Several choices to pick from and fast service. I can’t imagine why there would be a bad review!

This is an awesome restaurant in the small town of Cambridge, Nebraska. I had summer lunches there and my best friend and I had Thanksgiving dinner there. The food is excellent. The chef is the owner and his wife the waitress. I a very friendly atmosphere and a place that I will visit every time I’m in Nebraska. Highly recommended!

Have not eaten here in a while and was very much looking forward to it. Ended up not being an enjoyable experience. We were seated by the door and it was very, very cold. They should not be seating people there unless they add some kind of heat. We waited seven and a half minutes from the time we were seated until the waitress came and took our order. It took 25 minutes to get our meal after our salad. We waited 10 minutes after we finished eating for our ticket and my husband ended up going to get it and pay for our meal so we could leave. It was sad to see there was no salad bar (no fault of theirs. I’m sure it’s due to the Corona). My husband’s prime rib was very good, and my chicken fried chicken was okay (not as good as last time I had it), but the gravy wasn’t very good and my steak fries were not good at all (my husband didn’t mind them and ate them). Town Talk disappointed this time for me. Not sure I will go back any time soon.

I do not go here for good service. I go because the teriaki steak is very good. They don’t have an infant changing station. I had to chase my waitress down for her to charge my card, to get it back, and then she scolded me because I didn’t know I was supposed to go into a different room to get my card back. I also about slipped and fell with my Infant in my arms on the way out.
There were only 3 tables and the waitress had trouble keeping up. I get the distinct feeling that had I been known in the community my service would have been much better.

Their food is absolutely incredible. Everything I have eaten there has been delicious. My family and I eat there weekly because we know the staff will be friendly and the food will be awesome.

Town talk is the best food in Cambridge! I was lucky enough to come on Prime Rib night, and it was magical! Seating is limited so definitely get there early if you dont want to wait, but trust me its worth it if you have to. Thanks TT! We will be back for more!

This is a must visit location! The prime rib is my favorite with top notch service and food quality. They make you feel like family with great value. I look forward to coming here every time I’m in Cambridge.

A few of our party, including me, enjoyed various chicken diners while the majority took in the true Western Nebraska joy of prime rib and chicken fried steak.

Our server was new and struggled a bit, but the manager was there to help her along and her positive attitude more than made up for her learning curve.

We have eaten here a few times. Each time has been the same. I had chicken fried chicken which says two chicken breast. What you get are think boneless skinless battered chicken breast. That is really just chicken tenders and it’s $17.95 They don’t have mash potatoes even with chicken fried steak. Photos show that but they don’t have it anymore.
They do have gravy though. Kind of odd to put gravy on your baked potato or fries that are offered. The bake potato’s are very small and if you ask for a loaded one you get 1/2 piece of bacon and some melted shredded cheese on it for $2 extra. They have no vegetable selections. You get a salad which is just bag salad with one whole carrot stick and a couple of slices of cucumber. They must pre-make the salads as they serve them with saran wrap on them all pressed down. They bring out bread with the salad that are just store bought buns and they were cold like they just came out of the fridge.

They have daily specials. My partner had the steak that was on special $32.95. It was good and cooked right but oddly that is the same price as on the menu. So I was fooled by that. I don’t know what was special.
