Really good vegan options. This is our parent’s local take away which we previously couldn’t go to for lack of options for us, but they have expanded the menu. Lots to choose from. The veg Singapore vermicelli and tofu curry were delicious. Will definitely order from there regularly from now on 🙂

No vegan options. Not even vegetarian options which are stated on the menu. I was told, by staff, that everything is cooked in the same wok so that nice sounding tofu dish comes soaked in pig fat.
Take note Cariad Morgan.
Disappointing.
Oh and they hang up on calls made to them from a French mobile which meant I had to walk 20 minutes in the rain to find this out.

Ordered battered chicken balls and what arrived made me sick. Frozen. Re heated rock hard chicken in batter half brown and half white where it hadn’t defrosted. You WILL make people sick if you serve old re-heated food. 3 star food hygene rating. No wonder

The worst fish and chips we’ve ever had. Virtually no fish inside a thick coating of overcooked dry and brittle batter. It must have been in the heated cabinet for hours. At £13.60 for 2 ghastly fish and a portion of chips it wasn’t cheap. Never again! Horrible.

The first time in a long time where I’ve not enjoyed a Chinese meal. Everything tasted of old oil and left a bad after taste. Would not recommend this place and will not eat here again.

How this place gets an average 4.5 is beyond me! The Special Fried Rice was brown and looked like it’d been recycled from the previous day. The Chow Mein tasted okay but looked really unappetising. The curry was passable and very mild and the prawn ‘balls’ were just prawns covered in fish batter and fried they tasted fowl. It wasn’t too expensive and we ate half of it as we were famished, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for the Chinese food.

The food is delicious and simply amazing. It is the most humane food I have ever eaten in any Chinese restaurant. But fried rice and fried noodles personally feel that they are not enough. They have a feeling that they are not fried. I do n’t know how to say that. They always give people a taste that is not hot. I hope they can improve it! Golden Dragon can become a local symbol with Chinese characteristics!

My husband loves his fish dinner here. My peking duck was a bit dry but still nice. The owner was friendly and personal to all the guests – she even gave me free prawn crackers!
